Another ‘nothing to see here’ voter fraud case hits the headlines

A federal agency offered “yet another example” in favor of the SAVE America Act as an indictment and arrest of a non-citizen outlined her alleged voting record.

Those in favor of action to stop even one instance of injustice and the “that never happens” crowd share at least one thing in common when it comes to election integrity: silence. As establishment lawmakers continue to shirk their responsibility to vote in line with their constituents on voter ID and proof of citizenship requirements, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the arrest of a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) from Australia alleged to have lied to vote in federal elections.

Arrested on July 1, 51-year-old Denise Nataly Migliore of Franklinton, Louisiana, was slapped with a four-count indictment on June 11, 2026, for allegedly making false statements about U.S. citizenship to register to vote. According to the indictment, the LPR, originally from Sydney, claimed to be a citizen in both October of 2022 and 2024 before casting ballots in the November elections of those years.

“This alien from Australia now faces federal charges for falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen and illegally casting ballots in two elections,” stated acting Assistant DHS Secretary of Public Affairs Lauren Bis. “Her arrest and charges are the result of the hard work of the men and women of ICE law enforcement and our federal partners.”

“Our message to aliens who vote in American elections is clear: we will find you, arrest you, and you will face the consequences, including criminal charges and deportation,” she went on. “Only Americans should be electing American leaders.”

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana, “If convicted, MIGLIORE faces a maximum penalty of five (5) years in prison, followed by three (3) years of supervised release. MIGLIORE also faces a fine of up to $250,000, and a $100.00 mandatory special assessment fee.”

The allegations against Migliore are hardly unique, as investigators have repeatedly made arrests of non-citizens, be they legally or illegally present in the United States, said to have succeeded in registering to vote and cast ballots for elections, including presidential races.

Earlier this year, get-out-the-vote phenom Scott Presler highlighted how an illegal alien from Cambodia first registered to vote in 2015 before voting in both the 2020 and 2024 presidential elections. Likewise, a man from Mauritania was alleged to have voted in at least five presidential elections.

Similarly, the Department of Justice announced at the beginning of May that four legal aliens allegedly applied for citizenship with falsified applications wherein they claimed to have never voted in a federal election. The DOJ contended that each had voted in at least one of the 2020, 2022, or 2024 general elections, leading acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to state in part, “This Justice Department will use every authority to protect the integrity of U.S. elections, including by prosecuting any noncitizens who lie about their legal status in an attempt to vote.”
