Days after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., accused Republicans of “projecting their sexual frustrations” at her, she was spotted maskless at a packed Florida bar.
The New York Democrat was caught on video blowing kisses to a cheering crowd at a densely packed drag bar in Miami. Footage that emerged showed Ocasio-Cortez waving and basking in the attention just days after she lashed out on social media for being criticized over her hypocrisy.
While New York is still seeing record COVID-19 numbers and residents are being subjected to renewed restrictions, the socialist lawmaker high-tailed it out of her home state to head to the “free state” of Florida, which has consistently been the target of attacks by the left and Democrat lawmakers seemingly jealous of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ effective handling of the pandemic.
“Rules for thee but not for me,” Brendon Leslie, tweeted along with footage from the south Florida bar where Ocasio-Cortez was also seen hugging and chatting with Broadway star Billy Porter.

“Just so we’re clear @AOC, we report real news and do NOT want to date you,” the outlet’s Twitter account wrote, referring to Ocasio-Cortez’s outlandish rant after being photographed with her boyfriend in Miami, sitting maskless at a restaurant sipping drinks.
“AOC was spotted partying in a bar maskless in the great free state of Florida. Absolute hypocrite,” Twitter account Libs of Tik Tok wrote.

“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted last week after former Trump campaign advisor Steve Cortes mocked her boyfriend’s choice of sandal.

“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general. These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
The congresswoman came under fire for her bizarre response that made no reference to her escape from New York to sunny Florida where there are currently no statewide mask mandates in place.
Leslie clarified to Twitter users that the criticism of Ocasio-Cortez over her maskless appearance at the drag bar was explicitly because of her hypocrisy.
“For those of you with zero sense of humor: the whole point of this post is to expose hypocrisy. We don’t actually care she’s maskless. We care she fear mongers about Florida but then has the audacity to vacation here,” the reporter tweeted after also writing, “PS:@AOC I’m posting this because you’re a lying hypocrite and NOT because I want to sleep with you.”
