Ashley Biden reportedly confirmed infamous diary was hers according to recently-released court docs

Ashley Biden’s notorious diary is 100 percent real, according to newly released court documents from the ongoing case against Project Veritas.

Recall that Project Veritas was raided in 2021 after word emerged that it had a copy of a diary allegedly written by President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley.

In December of last year, a special master was appointed to “oversee the separation of privileged materials found” during the raid, according to the Associated Press.

The separation is now evidently complete because this week special master Barbara Jones filed a court motion containing the results of the investigation.

Within this motion are a couple of major bombshells, starting with the now-undeniable fact that the diary is 100 percent real:

“Project Veritas reached a Biden acquaintance who conferenced a person who identified herself as Biden. Biden stated that the belongings were hers and asked that they be delivered to a friend in Delray Beach,” the filing reads.

Technically, this was already known. However, the new filing is an additional weapon that can now be used against members of the legacy media who have been denying the diary’s legitimacy since day one.

The original evidence of the diary’s legitimacy emerged last August when the two Florida residents who stole it pleaded guilty.

“Aimee Harris and Robert Kurlander pled guilty to conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property involving the theft of personal belongings of an immediate family member of a then-former government official who was a candidate for national political office,” according to a Department of Justice press release.

As previously reported, Harris, 40, and Kurlander, 58, stole Ashley Biden’s diary in 2020 and sold it to Project Veritas.

After acquiring the diary, Project Veritas declined to publish it and instead delivered it into the hands of the FBI.

The FBI in turn decided to raid them, and Harris and Kurlander decided to work against them.

“Prosecutors said Mr. Kurlander agreed as part of a plea deal to cooperate with the Justice Department’s investigation into how the diary was acquired by Project Veritas, whose deceptive operations against liberal groups and traditional news organizations made it a favorite of former President Donald J. Trump,” The New York Times reported at the time.

Another bombshell from this week’s filing is the special master’s conclusion that virtually all the documents that were obtained during the 2021 raid aren’t protected by journalistic privilege.

“Jones told U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres that she recommends letting prosecutors view most of the 1,000-plus documents gathered through search warrants for a probe into how the group received a diary purported to belong to President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden,” the AP reported.

“Jones said she rejected the argument that crimes described in a search warrant were not crimes because those under investigation were protected by the First Amendment and journalistic privilege. The warrant said possible crimes include conspiracy to transport stolen property across state lines, interstate transportation of stolen property and possession of stolen goods.”

The good news is that thus far, neither Project Veritas nor any of its staffers have been charged. But from the sounds of it, that could potentially change.

“Based on the materials submitted to me, including the search warrant affidavits, the government’s correspondence to me, and the guilty pleas of Harris and Kurlander, I find that the government has satisfied its burden of proving facts that show probable cause to believe that crimes or frauds have been committed,” Jones wrote.

Ashley Biden’s diary has been of particular concern to conservatives because of its salacious contents.

The contents of the diary were leaked in late 2021, and as seen in the tweet below from Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Republican, in it were mentions of Ashley showering with her father:
