Videos taken in a Georgia branch of a steakhouse chain appear to show cockroaches and food waste in the kitchen.
A LongHorn Steakhouse in East Point, Georgia, is going viral for all the wrong reasons after an employee reportedly recorded multiple videos of the deplorable kitchen conditions after raising the issue with managers and those in the corporate office.
Speaking to Fox 5 Atlanta, employee Sean Headley detailed repeated complaints about the kitchen before finally posting the footage to social media.
Y’all, that LongHorn Steakhouse video is NASTY. Workers picking food off plates and eating it, roaches crawling on the floor, and filthy floors. How is this even allowed? I’m disgusted just watching it.

“Really it was the work environment and the conditions that we were working in. There were a lot of inhumane conditions. We couldn’t work under these conditions. There are a lot of roaches there. There are a lot of health conditions that I couldn’t work with. I just had to speak up after a while,” Headley told the outlet.
“When I spoke to the managers, I was like, hey, is it possible for us to get the tools to succeed? They were like this guy is a goodie tissue,” he added.
He reportedly felt like his numerous complaints were dismissed by the higherups, prompting him to post the videos publicly. In less than 24 hours, they garnered millions of views, and LongHorn Steakhouse issued a response.
“The conditions shown are unacceptable and have been addressed. We continue to take the necessary steps to ensure a safe experience for our Guests and Team Members and recently placed a new leader in the restaurant to ensure our strict standards are maintained,” read a statement from the corporate office.
Headley said that having managers there to begin making improvements is a good start, but he’s also looking for accountability across Darden Restaurants.
“I would like more health inspector visitations. Not just for LongHorn, but for all Darden Restaurants. As for working conditions, let’s get these A/C fixed,” he said.

Corp knew he contacted them and did nothing. They are not investing in tier restaurants and just want money, not maintenance.
