Reports have emerged claiming that a shoeless homeless woman seen rummaging through trash in Los Angles is a former swimsuit model.

And not just any former swimsuit model, but Loni Willison, the model who used to be the wife of “Baywatch” star Jeremy Jackson from 2012 to 2014.

“The former swimsuit model, who has been homeless for nearly six years, resurfaced in Venice Tuesday for the first time since she was seen last spring,” according to an exclusive Daily Mail story published Wednesday.

Venice is a neighborhood in Los Angeles known for its beach. Incidentally, the beach is now known for its homeless occupants:

“Willison was snapped pushing a shopping cart piled high with her belongings while making stops at public trash cans around the tourist beach city to scavenge for food. The 38-year-old, once a magazine cover girl, was unrecognizable during the sighting, wearing layers of clothing and going without shoes,” the Daily Mail’s report continues.

“She wore a multicolor circle scarf, denim jacket, leggings, a backwards cap, and tied a flannel shirt around her waist. Willison was seen sipping on McDonald’s drink as she stopped to forage a garbage can on the street earlier in the day.”

She was reportedly spotted again later that evening “puffing on a cigarette and digging for more food in a dumpster in an alley.”

Here’s how Willison used to look during her days with Jackson, who became notorious in the 2010s for his drug addictions:

The Daily Mail notes that she herself has drug problems.

“Just seven years ago, she was living the Hollywood dream, modeling and appearing on red carpets at glittering events alongside TV hunk Jeremy Jackson, whom she married in 2012,” the outlet notes.

“But after developing a drug addiction, she has fallen on hard times and has been sleeping rough for the last six years in Venice, where the homelessness problem has reached a crisis point in recent years.”

What’s not clear is when exactly she developed said drug addiction. Was it during her time with Jackson? Was he perhaps the one who goaded her into it? The Daily Mail doesn’t say.

A separate report published last year by The Sun notes that Jackson’s own drug problems started when he was young.

“Jeremy, a former child star, already had a history of drug addiction, which had begun during his time as a teenager on Baywatch. He had been arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, at 19, had spent 90 days in jail for possession and completed five stints in rehab,” according to The Sun.

This all happened before the pair got married.

Here’s how Willison looks now:

After the marriage, issues emerged behind the scenes, away from the eyes of the public.

“The marriage descended into booze-fuelled arguments and, in August 2014, police were called to their home after Jeremy allegedly attacked Loni. She later claimed he strangled and beat her, leaving her with two broken ribs, an injured neck and scratches on her face and body but she decided not to press charges,” according to The Sun.

“The pair split straight after the alleged attack, which she revealed only after her ex entered the Celebrity Big Brother house a year later, in 2015. But it signalled the start of Loni’s mental health problems and downward spiral.”

She fell into a deep depression, quit her job because she couldn’t handle it amid the emotional trauma, fell into debt and eventually wound up on the streets. It’s there, the Sun alleged, that “she developed an addiction to crystal meth.”

Willson has reportedly been spotted on the streets multiple times over the years:

According to The Sun, when Willison was first spotted homeless in 2018, Jackson’s then-girlfriend, Cindy Kovacs, was shocked at how little he cared.

“He didn’t give a s–t. It was appalling, sickening,” she told the outlet.
