Biden heads to Arizona, but has no plans to make first-ever visit border visit

But for a complicit media, it’s inconceivable that President Joe Biden has avoided a visit to the U.S. southern border with Mexico given the historic nature of the invasion underway there.

With a mind-boggling 5 million-plus foreign nationals illegally crossing into America in the last two years, nearly half the alleged population of illegal immigrants in the nation, Biden cannot be bothered to show up at the scene of what Fox News host Tucker Carlson has called the greatest crime in U.S. history, even when he is in a border state.

The president is visiting the building site for a new computer chip plant in Arizona on Tuesday to push his economic agenda and, despite being 100 miles from the overrun border, there is no planned stop, no effort to buoy the spirits of overwhelmed Border Patrol agents dealing with the record level of humanity flowing across the border along with record levels of fentanyl — according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 107,622 Americans died of drug overdoses in 2021, with 66% of those deaths related to synthetic opioids like fentanyl.

Migrants motivated by the Biden administration turning its head to the wide open border are also dying by the hundreds in making the dangerous trek to America, where they’re often at the mercy of the ruthless drug cartels in Mexico. The deaths warrant little notice from corporate media.

Taking a page from the playbook of Vice President Kamala Harris, aka the border czar in search of the root cause of the southern invasion, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed recently that “he’s been there,” in reference to her boss visiting the border. This is not true, according to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, who noted on Twitter that Biden “has never visited the border in his entire political career.” That being some 50 years.

Tom Homan, the director of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement under Donald Trump who visited the border five times as president, told Fox News Digital that Biden’s refusal to visit the border is a snub of the agents who put their lives at risk to enforce his policies.

“If Biden does not visit the border while in Arizona and talk to the men and women who risk their lives every day during a historic border security crisis, then he will show he has truly abandoned the agency that works 24/7 to keep this country safe,” Homan said. “What kind of commander-in-chief abandons those on the front line because of politics? The fact is, Joe Biden won’t visit the border because he doesn’t want to be confronted with the reality of the destruction his policies have caused.”
