Big new detail emerges about gun-wielding woman who was hit by police car: ‘Say it ain’t so!’

New details are emerging about the previously unidentified New Yorker who waved a gun in a Long Island intersection before being struck by a Nassau County police officer’s vehicle, and they are setting social media on fire.

Turns out the woman who was caught on video storming across the intersection, her gun pointed first at cars and drivers, and then, at her own head, is actually a biological man, despite previous reports from the Nassau County Police Department (NCPD).

Kiber Calderon, 31, also identifies as “Hanna Carillo,” a 33-year-old woman, the NCPD said in a statement on Wednesday.

What’s more, Calderon has a rap sheet.

“The defendant was previously arrested in New York City on June 8, 2023, for Burglary 3rd Degree, and on June 9, 2023, for Burglary 2nd Degree and Trespassing,” NCPD revealed.

According to police detectives, on Tuesday afternoon, “911 received multiple calls for a female firing a black handgun into the air in the vicinity of Jerusalem Avenue and Bellmore Avenue.”

As BizPac Review reported, a witness to the incident, Samantha Decarolis, described the scene to News 12.

“She was in the street and then she came more toward the sidewalk and then she got in the middle of the road and that’s when she started waving the gun,” Decarolis said.

Seconds after Calderon pointed the black and silver handgun at his own head, he was stopped by a quick-thinking police officer.

“An officer struck the subject with the front passenger side of a patrol vehicle, causing the defendant to fall to the ground with the weapon,” according to NCPD. “Defendant Kiber Calderon, 31, of 454 Lexington Avenue, a.k.a. Hanna Carillo, 33, was placed into custody and a loaded firearm was recovered.”

Calderon “suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment,” the police stated, and the officer who hit him “was transported to an area hospital and is being treated for trauma.”

Calderon was charged with “three (3) counts of Menacing 3rd Degree, Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, two (2) counts of Menacing a Police Officer, Criminal Contempt of Court, two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree” and “will be arraigned when medically practical.”

Online, news of Calderon’s alter ego has sparked everything from laughter to fury.

“Hahahaha! Say it ain’t so!” exclaimed one user on X. “Let’s sit back and just listen to all the rants!!”

But many see the news as proof of a mental health crisis in America.
