Bondi unmasks thug who threw rocks at federal officers identified: ‘You can run, you can’t hide’

Attorney General Pam Bondi said that the leftist thug who was caught on video throwing chunks of cinder blocks at federal law enforcement officers has been identified and is being hunted down by the authorities.

The nation’s top law enforcement official appeared on Fox News on Monday, where she told host Sean Hannity that the FBI was able to ID the suspect who, in the viral video, hurled the debris at federal vehicles in Paramount, California, during the violent anti-ICE riots that are engulfing Los Angeles.

“That guy has just been identified, and they are doing a search warrant on his house, as we speak,” she said. And he has been identified… he is going to be on the Most Wanted list.

“He has been identified by the great police work by the FBI,” the attorney general continued. “So, you can run, you can’t hide. We are coming after you federally. If you assault a police officer, if you rob a store, if you loot, if you spit on police officers, we’re coming after you.”

“As President Trump said: ‘You spit, we hit,’” Bondi added. “Get ready. If you spit on a federal law enforcement officer, we are going to charge you with a crime federally. You are looking at up to five years maximum in prison.”

In a post to X, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli revealed that the suspect’s name is Elpidio Reyna, a 40-year-old who has been charged with assault on a federal officer and, if convicted, will face up to eight years behind bars.

“Elpidio Reyna can run, but he can’t hide. He threw rocks at federal officers leaving a command post in Paramount on Saturday, a brazen attack caught on film and that could have resulted in deaths,” the federal prosecutor wrote.

Reyna is currently on the lam, and the FBI is offering a reward of $50,000 for information that leads to his arrest, Essayli said.

In the video of the criminal act, the helmeted suspect was seen as he forcefully launched the debris at the vehicles as they sped down Alondra Blvd on Saturday afternoon, resulting in an injury to a federal officer as well as damage to government vehicles.

FBI Director Kash Patel warned rioters, “If you assault a law enforcement officer, you’re going to jail—period.”

“It doesn’t matter where you came from, how you got here, or what cause you claim to represent,” the FBI chief told Fox News Digital. “If local jurisdictions won’t stand behind the men and women who wear the badge, the FBI will.”
