Casey DeSantis thanks We the People Wine for stepping up to help Florida hurricane victims

We The People Wine, the brand dedicated to the values that define America, is playing a part in assisting victims of hurricane damage wrought in the state of Florida.

Providing donations to the state’s official private fund overseen by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis, the all-American, patriotic wine company announced its partnership with the Republic National Distributing Company to assist in the ongoing recovery efforts for Floridians who were severely impacted by Hurricane Ian, the Category 4 force of nature that brought devastation to the state when it slammed into the southwest Gulf Coast and left a trail of destruction across the peninsula this fall.

We The People Wine, a leading American made vintner, will donate $4 from every bottle sale to provide aid and other humanitarian relief to the millions of residents devastated by Hurricane Ian,” the company said in a press release.

“The donations, made in concert with We The People’s distributor Republic National Distributing Company, will help to provide critical services and supplies to residents in the regions devastated by the storm. The donations will be sent to Florida Relief Fund – the primary fund overseen by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis.”

“We The People is committed to assisting our neighbors and to stand beside the brave first responders working around the clock on recovery efforts,” We The People President Marshall Bush said in a statement. “Americans have always stepped forward to support one another in the wake of natural disasters, and we are proud to carry on that tradition.”

The funds will come from the sale of We The People’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay as well as RNDC’s own contributions. Philanthropy has been at the center of We The People’s mission since its founding in 2020. A portion of all its profits since it released its first batch of cabernet sauvignon in 2021 goes to the Working Warrior Foundation, which serves special operations and other military veterans. We The People has begun rapidly expanding since its 2020 launch as a direct-to-consumer wine brand, and will soon go on sale at retailers in a number of states, including Florida.

We The People is one of the fast-growing American-made vintners in the U.S. The company is rooted in delivering exceptional wine to consumers while advancing the values of American exceptionalism, free markets, free people, and free speech.

As previously noted by BizPac Review:

Produced in California’s world-renowned wine country, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay sold by this company don’t just sport a dazzling label and dress the part of the pro-American company. No, they walk the walk as well, stating “a portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold will go directly towards supporting candidates and causes that reflect the values our community stands for.” This way, you can rest assured that your purchase is still working hard long after the last drop of wine has been enjoyed.

Last year, the company earned well-deserved praise for a patriotic advertisement that quickly went viral, proudly touting America’s exceptionalism with portions of a stirring speech from former President Ronald Reagan.

“Well, why we did wine was because we wanted to unify people, not only around the brand but around the values we stand for,” We The People’s CEO Ryan Coyne said after the ad was released.

“Again, free speech, free people, things that are being suppressed right now,” he added. “And what better way to do that than to raise a glass kind of and to we the people. We think that food and drink is a unifying element of society and so that’s the way we went, and we encourage more brands to speak more loudly about the values that they stand for.”

All great change begins at the dinner table!
