The Trump-hating corporate media can’t help themselves when it comes to opportunities to denounce anything — or anyone — connected to President Donald Trump.
Just this week, ABC News ran a highly misleading story about a Tesla “killing the vehicle’s passenger and sending the driver to the hospital.”
Teslas being an Elon Musk product, of course — the billionaire finds himself devoid of the media protection offered to a plethora of other billionaires who support liberal causes, primarily because he supports many of the common-sense policies pushed by Trump and the GOP that benefit business growth.
ABC News would delete the offending X post after a flood of attention to the facts in the case, including a Community Notes flag. Turns out, the Tesla was not operating on Autopilot when 27-year-old Alejandra Paharsingh crashed into a mailbox, a bus stop, and scaffolding in Manhattan at 2:43 a.m. on Wednesday — Paharsingh’s blood alcohol level tested at 0.229, nearly three times the legal limit.

Even worse, Paharsingh reportedly fled the scene after the crash — she now faces charges of vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene, and driving while impaired.
As seen above, Musk responded to ABC News on X to ask, “Why are you misleading the public?”
He also noted that if FSD (Full Self Driving) was in use the vehicle would not have crashed, and offered his take on why the media is biased against his company: “The legacy media will never forgive Tesla for failing to advertise with them.”

Just as importantly, they will never forgive Musk for joining with Trump to oversee the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a temporary federal initiative established by executive order in January 2025 to downsize federal bureaucracy, cut spending, and modernize government technology.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has a rich history of calling the media out for it’s inherent bias, weighed in on X: “Did the Tesla crash by itself or did the driver crash the car? Obviously it was the latter but ABC News is dedicated as usual to lying for clicks and narrative promotion purposes.”
