U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., is hoping to censure her Democrat colleague Rep. Rashida Tlaib whom she has accused of leading an “insurrection” on Capitol Hill last week.
The Georgia Republican will introduce the resolution to censure Tlaib on Tuesday in order to hold the ‘Squad’ member from Michigan “accountable” for “antisemitic activity” and “sympathizing with terrorist organizations.”
“The [Democratic] Party has done nothing to hold her accountable. They’ve done nothing to rein her in, and no one else here has done it. And so I thought it was right to list examples of – this isn’t just new. This isn’t a one-off thing. This is exactly who she is,” Greene told Fox News Digital in the wake of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7 which has left over 1,400 dead.
I’m writing a censure resolution for Rashida Tlaib.
After what she did today, I expect even Democrats will join in.
She is an Israel hating America hating woman who does not represent anything America stands for.

“I think we will have every single Republican vote with us for this central resolution,” Greene said, adding of those lawmakers on the opposite side of the aisle, “It would be shocking to me if they didn’t vote for it.”
Greene called out Tlaib, the only Palestinian-American member of Congress, for speaking at and leading a pro-Palestinian protest where the ground floor at the Cannon House Office Building was overrun by activists.
“It should [have] a House Ethics inquiry. [The House Administration Committee] should be investigating it. I think the Department of Justice, FBI should be investigating, even possibly the CIA,” Greene said of Tlaib’s support of the protest.

“Today [Tlaib] followed Hezbollah’s orders for a ‘day of unprecedented anger.’ She organized the occupation of the Cannon office building with radical Global Intifada group and anti-Israel activists JVP,” Greene posted on X. “Tlaib is a terrorist sympathizer and does not belong in congress!”
Tlaib has blamed Israel for an airstrike that struck a hospital in Gaza and did not retract her claims even when Israeli and American officials rebutted the reports.

“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” tweeted the member of the progressive “Squad” of Democrats in the House.
“[President Biden] this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire [and] help de-escalate,” she added. “Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood.”
But the facts were not what the critics of Israel made them out to be.
“From the analysis of the operational systems of the IDF, an enemy rocket barrage was carried out towards Israel, which passed through the vicinity of the hospital when it was hit,” a spokesperson from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) tweeted on an official account.
