Charlamagne tha God acknowledged that diversity, equity, and inclusion, which is commonly known as DEI is “mostly garbage” in a take that shows how much damage has been done to the “woke” brand.
This week the host of the nationally syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club” filled in at “The Daily Show” and delivered a dagger to DEI in a monologue that leftists likely found unsettling but normal people can see as hope that a long overdue backlash is coming against officially sanctioned anti-white racism.
After playing a clip of several ridiculous corporate ads, Charlamagne showed Fox News hosts trashing the racist social engineering including Greg Gutfeld who quipped that DEI stands for “didn’t earn it” – one of the more accurate descriptions of the policies which the host said may have been “well-intentioned” but are failing.

“The truth about DEI is that although it’s well-intentioned, it’s mostly garbage. Okay?” Charlamagne, whose real name is Lenard Larry McKelvey said.
“It’s kind of like the black Little Mermaid. Just because racists hate it, doesn’t mean it’s good. And you know I’m right because every one of you has sat through one of those diversity training sessions and thought, this is bullsh*t,” he continued. “And it’s not just you. Over 900 studies have shown that DEI programs don’t make the workplace better for minorities. In fact, it can actually make things worse because of the backlash effect.”
And of course, because it’s the answer for every problem for the left, he seemed to attribute the failure of the ideology -which became dominant after the death of career criminal and drug addict George Floyd – to racism.
He added, “the biggest failure of DEI is that the number of black people in power at big companies is basically the same as it was five years ago. In fact, maybe the only thing that DEI has accomplished is giving racist white people cover to be openly racist.”
His remarks drew a big response on X, and from the platform’s owner Elon Musk who shared the clip.

Other reactions to McKelvey’s admission which is spot-on, even if he did wrap it up on the usual whining about racism.
We are winning the fight against DEI. Now even the Daily Show acknowledges that DEI is “mostly garbage.” https://t.co/aLQumQAmdp

The DEI dam just broke.

It’s garbage and it’s not well intentioned. And, every thinking person should be against the institutional racism it pushes.

Well intentioned garbage is still garbage.

It was never well intentioned. It was always planned and weaponized empathy to sew division.

So it’s garbage but if you oppose it, you’re racist. Got it.

Why do liberals always “figure it out” when it’s years too late to undo the damage they already caused?
— Breaking News (@Airixmyth) April 4, 2024
I agree that it is well intentioned. However, rich/white/women use it boost their savior complex and it turns toxic.

His last line contradicted his whole truthful analysis. A bit weak sauce buddy

If sanity does reassert itself over what will be howls of protest from leftists and the real racists, DEI which is indeed garbage, could be destined for the trash heap of history.
