‘Clean shaven’ escaped murderer Danelo Cavalcante SPOTTED on porch camera near Phoenixville, PA

Escaped murderer Danelo Cavalcante was spotted on a security camera near Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday night, some 26 miles from Longwood Gardens, where he was last seen.

Cavalcante, who was convicted of brutally murdering his ex-girlfriend in front of her children in 2021, has changed his appearance, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

“He is now clean shaven and wearing a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, green prison pants, and white shoes,” authorities said Sunday morning in a statement on X.

“Cavalcante is operating a 2020 White Ford Transit van bearing Pennsylvania registration ZST-8818,” the police stated. “The van has a refrigeration unit on the top.”

Considered extremely dangerous, police urged citizens to, “Contact law enforcement” if either Cavalcante or the vehicle is seen.

One user on X posted a photo of a similar White Ford Transit that features the refrigeration unit.

Another user updated the report, stating that “Bailey’s Dairy” is not written on the side of the vehicle.

As BizPac Review reported, Cavalcante was convicted of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend to prevent her from telling police that he was wanted in connection to a killing in Brazil, his home country. He had been sentenced to life in prison for the death of his ex-girlfriend and was awaiting transfer to state prison when he made his bold break out of the Chester County Prison on August 31.

The murderer crab-walked his way out of the exercise yard, shimmied through razor wire, dashed across the roof, scaled a second wall, and pushed through still more razor wire to free himself.

Cavalante was first spotted on a trail camera at the Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square. On Friday, he was seen again just north of the nearly 200-acre botanical garden on E. Street Rd and Conservatory Rd.

Additional sightings of Cavalcante occurred on Monday night when a surveillance camera caught him walking on the Longwood grounds. On Thursday, a person reported seeing the fugitive in another area of the gardens. Hours later, another possible sighting was reported, state police said.

Longwood Gardens announced on its website, “As the search for the escaped prisoner from Chester County Prison continues, our Gardens are closed until further notice.”
