Special Counsel Jack Smith has made his move to insert himself into the democratic process and CNN is giddy about the latest twist in an already wild election year.
On Tuesday, the underhanded prosecutor filed a news superseding indictment against Republican nominee Donald J. Trump on ginned-up charges that he tried to subvert the 2020 election, the regime’s response to the Supreme Court’s ruling that the former president was entitled to immunity.
CNN was all over the news and brought in former Trump organization lawyer William Brennan who praised Smith’s pre-election maneuver as a “slick move” now that the government’s lawfare campaign could be back on track.

“Phil, it’s not uncommon, for a prosecutor to do this, it’s actually a smart move,” he told CNN anchor Phil Mattingly
“With the trouble that, he’s having with the, now, former, but, as of an hour ago, current indictment, he now supersedes, he streamlines, and he tries to, take that indictment further,” Brennan said. “I mean, it really is a smart move on Jack Smith’s part. Whether it’ll survive is, is unclear right now, but, it is a slick move.”
Trump reacted to the “election interference” by Smith and the DOJ by placing the responsibility for the “banana republic” move squarely on the shoulders of “Comrade Kamala Harris” who has been playing herself up as a prosecutor.

In another much lengthier statement posted to Truth Social, Trump unloaded on Harris for “persecution of a political opponent” in a series of several posts.

They cheated on the Election, and they go after me for ‘cheating on the Election.’ Interestingly, this comes at the exact same time as Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook has admitted to concealing massive amounts of information, such as Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell, which is a direct acknowledgment that the 2020 Presidential Election was MANIPULATED and RIGGED by the DOJ. What they are doing now is the single greatest sabotage of our Democracy in History….”
