CNN’s Jake Tapper ran interference for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) who is facing censure in the House this week over her anti-Israel rhetoric and for inciting a mob that invaded the Capitol complex last week.
On Sunday morning’s edition of “State of the Union” Tapper assailed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) who introduced a privileged resolution to censure Tlaib, an Israel-hating fibber whose tweet falsely blaming the Jewish nation for a Gaza hospital bombing remained up on X as of Sunday night.
Speaking live from Tel Aviv, the whiny Democratic party today found a way to make holding Tlaib accountable for her anti-Semitism all about former President Donald J. Trump and Greene in an extended diaper-dumping diatribe that took his shameless partisanship to an entirely new level.

“The degree to which some folks only pretend to care about anti-Semitism when they can weaponize, it never ceases to amaze,” Tapper said as he launched into an unhinged five-minute rant about the Georgia Republican, running interference for Tlaib by insisting that it is Greene, Trump, and Republicans who are the true anti-Semites.
“You’re never gonna believe who the Republican offering this motion to censure Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is. I want you to take a guess. Go ahead. Take a guess. That’s right. It’s Marjorie Taylor Greene,” Tapper said as he began his angry tirade.
“The leading Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump … he dined with Holocaust deniers,” he said, referring to the controversial podcaster Nick Fuentes who showed up as an uninvited guest for a dinner at Mar-a-Lago last year in tow with troubled rapper Kanye West.
“Donald Trump posted a screed accusing liberal Jews of ‘voting to destroy America and Israel’ last Rosh Hashanah to nary a peep from any House Republican leaders,” the Trump-obsessed propagandist raged.
“This is the same Marjorie Taylor Greene who has pushed the great replacement theory in videos,” Tapper added, throwing everything that he could think of at the wall to defend Tlaib. “The deranged notion that rich Jews are trying to replace white Americans and westerners with blacks and brown Muslims. Not to mention, of course, her Jewish space laser conspiracy that a consortium including, yes, wealthy Jews, were using lasers on satellites to start forest fires here in Israel,” he said, spewing nonsense to the network’s gullible viewers.
After over five minutes of crazed ranting, the unmoored anchor wrapped it up in foul-mouthed fashion.
“Anti-Semitism is not a cudgel to be used against people for political points,” he said. “Nor is Islamophobia or racism, or anti-gay behavior or misogyny or any other kind of bigotry.”
“This sh*t is not a game,” he concluded.
Despite Tapper’s histrionics, Rep. Greene has the goods on the “anti-Semite” Tlaib.
“Rashida Tlaib is an anti-Semite, pro-Hamas, and led an insurrection into the Capitol complex. Every member of Congress will be on record. Including every Democrat. Will they condemn Rashida Tlaib’s hatred or support her sympathy for terrorists?” MTG wrote in a post to X that included the hateful rhetoric coming directly from the horse’s mouth.

There was once a time when CNN was a legitimate news organization that put serious people on the air and Tapper’s twisted rant only serves to beclown himself as a partisan hack and to further discredit his employer.
