The “woke” left’s cultural jihad of desecrating and destroying statues and monuments of the greatest leaders in American history has often included tributes to President Abraham Lincoln, a leader who freed the slaves despite constant harping about the long-abolished practice.
Over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Honest Abe was once again targeted by some disrespectful miscreants who defaced a statue of the “great emancipator” at a Chicago-area park.
The statue which was at Senn Park in the crime-ridden city’s Edgewater neighborhood was splashed with red paint to signify blood and had the words “COLONIZER” and “LAND BACK!” written on the base, political statements that have become commonplace with today’s poorly educated leftists who have a serious ax to grind with the country’s formative figures.

According to a report from the Chicago Tribune, “The vandals also reportedly wrote ‘Dakota 38,’ in apparent reference to 38 Dakota Sioux who were executed on Lincoln’s order following the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862, also known as the Sioux Uprising.”
“The writings on the ground were removed, and the statue was expected to be cleaned up Monday, Chicago Park District spokeswoman Michele Lemons wrote in an email to the Tribune. The Park District filed a police report about the incident,” the outlet reported.
It was the second time that a statue of Lincoln – who was from Illinois – has been recently vandalized in the Windy City, last month, the likeness of the nation’s 16th president was similarly defaced on Columbus Day.
In Chicago on Columbus Day, radicals desecrated a wonderful Abraham Lincoln statue in Lincoln Park, alleging his mistreatment toward American Indians.

The graffiti refers to the Dakota uprising of 1862 during which marauding bands of Sioux Indians attacked white settlements along the Minnesota River until they were subdued by the military.
According to History.com, “President Abraham Lincoln dispatched General John Pope, fresh from his defeat at the Second Battle of Bull Run, Virginia, to organize the Military Department of the Northwest. Some Dakota fled to North Dakota, but more than 2,000 were rounded up and over 300 warriors were sentenced to death. President Lincoln commuted most of their sentences, but on December 26, 1862, 38 Dakota men were executed at Mankato, Minnesota.”
It was never going to be about just destroying the Confederate monuments were only the first act by those who hate America and all those who made it great like President Abraham Lincoln.
