Congressman tells vulgar Trump-haters, ‘get off your fat a**’

Rep. Tim Burchett delivered a succinct message to social media users who gave President Donald Trump the middle finger.

The Tennessee Republican responded to a TikTok video that made its way to the social media platform X in which a group of people flipped off the president while playing the rap song “F*ck Donald Trump.”

The reposted video included a caption reading, “Trump haters react to work requirements for food stamps.”

While it was not clear if that claim was accurate, the post caught Burchett’s attention.

“Get off your fat ass. I am tired of carrying you,” the congressman wrote in his repost on X.

During the recent government shutdown, Burchett blasted Democrat senators for “denying 40 million Americans SNAP ‘food stamps.’”

“While the Democrats play games with the #SchumerShutdown, Americans suffer. I’m suspending campaign fundraising until SNAP Benefits are restored, and I encourage my supporters to give to their local food banks,” Burchett shared in a post on X.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, people must meet certain work requirements to be eligible for SNAP benefits, including registering for work, not quitting a job voluntarily, taking an employment opportunity if offered, and participating in training programs if offered.

“In addition, able-bodied adults without dependents are required to work or participate in a work program for at least 20 hours per week in order to receive SNAP benefits for more than 3 months in a 36-month period,” the USDA site explains.

Burchett’s response to the TikTok video flipping off the president drew many reactions on X.
