Amid the midterm fallout, President Donald Trump announced a White House shakeup, with Stephen Miller stepping in as his new Chief of Staff.
Miller, currently Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, will replace longtime aide Susie Wiles in the role, as Trump told reporters, “Sometimes you gotta make moves.”
Miller expressed his gratitude and commitment in remarks he delivered alongside the president at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

“Let me tell you, if it wasn’t for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now. This man saved America,” Miller, who has been with Trump since 2015, said.
“He saved our military from collapse. He saved our economy from destruction. He saved our border from annihilation. And he saved our country from threats at home and abroad, which would have been the end of the American dream forever,” he continued.
“This man took a bullet for us. He faced down life in prison for us,” he said.
“We need to stand with the man who has stood with us and this country with every fiber of his being! It is the honor of my life to be President Trump’s chief of staff. And I swear to you, and I pledge to you, Mr. President, my absolute loyalty, my unwavering commitment, and my total devotion to your success and the success of this country,” Miller concluded.
He thanked Wiles for her service and friendship in a statement posted on X, where he hailed Trump as “the most transformative political leader in American History.”
President Trump is the most transformative political leader in American History — and he has single-handedly saved America from those who would destroy it.
It has been the privilege of my lifetime to have served on his team from Day One, and I am honored beyond words to serve as his White House Chief of Staff.
I want to thank the incomparable Susie Wiles for her years of devoted service to the President and the Country, and for her friendship.
The mission now is more clear than ever: Fight with all of our soul to support our President and defend this magnificent Republic.

Former Trump advisor Steve Cortes joined other voices in confirming that Miller is the right man for the job.
No amnesty.
No “comprehensive immigration reform.”
No reduction in immigration enforcement.
Mass deportations all the way through the 2028 election!

“Stephen Miller is not the guy that you’re reaching out to Democrats with to make a deal on immigration,” noted Fox News host Bret Baier
