Consumers’ Research launches app to warn conservative consumers about ‘woke’ corporations

Consumers’ Research has launched an app for conservatives that will warn them with a “Woke Alert” when a progressive corporation is pushing leftist initiatives, helping Americans to know when they should avoid certain products that don’t align with their values.

All of this follows the massive backlash against Anheuser-Busch’s disastrous Bud Light campaign featuring transgender Dylan Mulvaney and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey teaming up with drag queens in a separate ad campaign that infuriated consumers.

The Washington, D.C. company’s Executive Director Will Hild launched the app on Friday. It will send text updates to shoppers informing them of leftist marketing from large corporations.

To take advantage of the app’s warnings, all a person has to do is go to the company’s website and enter their phone number. Right now, there are purportedly alerts on Jack Daniel’s, Bud Light, Blackrock, and Silicon Valley Bank, according to the Daily Mail.

“Many corporations are putting progressive activists and their dangerous agendas ahead of customers. They’ll only succeed if we look the other way,” the site contends.

The company is specifically targeting Bud Light after the Mulvaney fiasco that has now allegedly cost them in excess of $5 billion.

But Bud Light is not alone. Jack Daniel’s ran its “Small Town, Big Pride” ad campaign in 2021 featuring three drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race which many found offensive and off-putting.

The site also mentions Nike which has hooked up with Mulvaney as well. An alert has not been sent out on the company… yet.

Axios is reporting that the “Woke Alert” launch is being promoted through a six-figure ad campaign.

“We are launching ‘Woke Alerts’ to help consumers make better-informed decisions about where to spend their money. We believe companies should focus on their customers and not woke politicians and progressive activists,” Hild told Axios.

The Consumers’ Research site also tracks environmental, social, and governance (ESG) legislation. The company is actively going after the leftist ideology to expose it.

Hild joined the company in 2020. He is reportedly friends with Leonard Leo, who is a Republican attorney and the former executive vice president of the Federalist Society.

Leo told The Washington Post, “Consumers’ Research and its leader Will Hild are executing the most impactful pushback I know against ESG and other aspects of woke corporate culture. It’s time that businesses that are out of step with the sentiments of most Americans pay a price for their standing up for woke special interest instead of consumers.”

Anna Bahr, a leftist political consultant, ironically told Axios, “I hate to break it to the radical right, but people in this country are a lot more concerned about paying for an eighty-dollar tank of gas than the color of their Budweiser bottle.”

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) raged at conservatives over the move, “The right-wing is hell-bent on moving our country backwards, and this new text service is laughable.”

Consumers’ Research follows Conservative Dad’s “Ultra Right Beer” which offers an alternative to Anheuser-Busch’s brew. Both read the room after Kid Rock and others made it clear how they felt about Bud Light’s leftist twist.
