Details of steamy 1982 Obama letter to ex-girlfriend fantasizing about sex with men revealed

After more than 40 years, a letter from former President Barack Obama to his ex-girlfriend, Alex McNear, in which he describes making love to men “daily” in his clearly fertile “imagination” has come back to haunt him.

In the letter, written by Obama in 1982 and obtained by the New York Post, the future president told McNear, whom he dated during the year he spent at Los Angeles’s Occidental College, that he has an “androgynous” mind, but he has accepted his biological fate.

As BizPac Review previously reported, the titillating letter was unearthed by Obama’s biographer, David Garrow, who discussed its contents in a Tablet interview.

“Alex sold those letters to Emory [University]. Alex had let me read all of the letters except this one paragraph that she redacted and just said, ‘It’s about homosexuality,'” he explained. “So, I had one of my oldest friends, Harvey Klehr, who has been a professor at Emory his whole life. I had Harvey go to the Emory archives and Harvey copied out the missing paragraph by hand, pencil and paper.”

To Fox News, Garrow stated that Obama had hoped his biographer would never get his hands on the letters he wrote to McNear when he was 21 years old.

“Barack made it clear to me that he hoped I would never read them, I can put it that way,” Garrow said.

Well, now everyone can read the letter in question — or, at least, the juiciest bits.

In November 1982 — at a time when a shocked world was reeling from the release of gender-bending pop sensation Boy George’s first album with Culture Club — Obama appeared quite open to the idea of androgyny.

“In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life,” he wrote to McNear. “You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination.”

“My mind is androgynous to a great extent and I hope to make it more so until I can think in terms of people, not women as opposed to men,” he continued. “But, in returning to the body, I see that I have been made a man, and physically in life, I choose to accept that contingency.”

The dive into Obama’s “imagination” has given new life to an old — and let’s be clear: unsubstantiated — rumor that Michelle Obama is a biological man.

Online, many point to remarks made by comedian Joan Rivers shortly before her death in September 2014.

“Do you think that the country will see the first gay president or the first woman president?” a reporter asked Rivers as she was returning from officiating a gay wedding.

“Well, we already have it with Obama,” she replied without a hint of her characteristic snark, “so let’s just calm down.”

“Michelle is a tranny,” she stated.

“I’m sorry, she’s a what?” the stunned reporter asked.

“A transgender,” a weary Rivers replied. “We all know.”

“Oh my gosh!” the reporter gasped.

“Oh gosh,” Rivers deadpanned. “It’s okay.”
