Donald Trump’s official 2024 re-election bid ‘to make America great and glorious again’ – MAGGA?

Vowing to “fight like never before,” Donald Trump officially announced that he is running for president of the United States for the third time.

Speaking from the elegant ballroom of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., the former president followed through on his expected announcement, delivering a forward-looking speech that focused on solutions to the growing problems facing America under the Biden administration.

“Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests and my fellow citizens, America’s comeback starts right now,” Trump said, as cheers erupted. “In order to make America great and glorious again I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.”

“But just as I promised in 2016, I am your voice. I am your voice,” he added. “The Washington establishment wants to silence us, but we will not let them do that. What we have built together over the past six years is the greatest movement in history because it is not about politics. It’s about our love for this great country, America, and we’re not going to let it fail.”

“I am running because I believe the world has not yet seen the true glory of what this nation can be. We have not reached that pinnacle, believe it or not,” Trump continued. “In fact, we can go very far. We’re going to have to go far. First, we have to get out of this ditch. And once we’re out, you’ll see things that nobody imagined for any country. It’s called the United States of America. And it’s an incredible place.”

Trump told supporters that America cannot take another four years of Joe Biden.

“I will ensure that Joe Biden does not receive four more years,” he said. “Our country could not take that. And I say that not in laughter, I say that in tears. Our country could not take four more years. They can only take so much.”

“The decline of America is being forced upon us by Biden and the radical left lunatics running our government right into the ground. This decline is not a fate we must accept,” the former commander-in-chief insisted.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee responded to Trump’s “pitch-perfect” speech during an appearance on Fox News to say, “If he keeps on like this tonight, he is unbeatable in 2024. Nobody can touch him.”

In a related development, Ivanka Trump, who served as a senior advisor to her father in his previous administration, posted a notice on Instagram Tuesday announcing that she does “not plan to be involved in politics” this time around.

“This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,” Ivanka said. “I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.”

If successful, Trump would not be the first person to be elected president again after losing reelection. Grover Cleveland retook the White House in 1892 after he lost his reelection bid to Benjamin Harrison in 1888.
