President Joe Biden’s heavily hyped sit-down with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos proved one thing to America, the 81-year-old is an egomaniac who isn’t going to heed calls for him to end his reelection bid.
Faced with a brewing revolt in his party which fears losing the election after the disastrous CNN debate, a heavily made-up Biden refused to take a cognitive test, insisted that he is “running the world” and said that the only thing that would make him quit would be if he were told to do so by “the Lord Almighty.”

Asked by Stephanopoulos about committing to undergo an “independent medical evaluation” and make the results public, Biden insisted that his daily job performance is enough proof that he’s mentally fit and capable of doing another four years in the White House.
“Look, I have a cognitive test every single day.” Biden claimed. “Every day I have that test. Everything I do. You know, not only am I campaigning, but I’m running the world. Not — and that’s not — it sounds like hyperbole. But we are the essential nation in the world. Madeleine Albright was right,” referring to the former secretary of state. “And every single day — for example, today, before I came out here, I’m on the phone with the — with the prime minister of — anyway, I shouldn’t get into the detail, but…“
While the embattled octogenarian may not have made a politically fatal gaffe during the 22-minute interview with the former Clinton official, his performance could hardly be reassuring to Democrats, who have been in a state of panic for the last week because he made it clear that he’s not going anywhere.
Stephanopoulos repeatedly confronted him with headlines and comments given to the media to make the case that he needs to step aside in favor of a yet-to-be-named replacement, likely VP Kamala Harris.

“Look, I mean, if the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe, get out of the race,’ I’d get out of the race, but the Lord Almighty’s not coming down,” Biden said.
Biden also repeatedly attacked Trump, repeating lies that went unchallenged by Stephanopoulos, including the COVID bleach hoax, and hitting the talking point about Trump’s debate “lies” while the ABC News anchor didn’t confront him with his own myriad of blatant fibs during the debate.

Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan summed it up: “Deluded Biden just gave the middle finger to America.”
Hours before the interview aired, a pumped-up Biden delivered a demagogic rant to a crowd of supporters in Madison, WI, raging at Trump who he predicted he’s going to beat – in 2020. But just take his word for it, he’s in peak mental condition.
