Elon Musk is vowing to make a more accurate AI version of The Odyssey, after Christopher Nolan’s WOKE cinematic adaptation of Homer’s epic.
Hollywood’s culturally inappropriate adaptation of the classic features black actresses Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy and Zendaya Coleman as Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. And taking the ridiculous to maximum level, portrays Ellen Page, a biological female who now calls herself Elliot Page after having her breasts removed, as the ancient warrior Sinus — she is 5 feet 1 inch tall, and weighs just over 100 lbs. soaking wet.
The costumes used in the film are not “accurate” versions of Bronze Age armor, and Nolan employs the use of contemporary American colloquialisms and accents, rejecting an unwritten Hollywood rule that classical and ancient historical epics employ British or “Received Pronunciation” accents to convey timeless prestige.
Confirming its woke characterization, Variety calls “The Odyssey” a “bona fide cultural phenomenon.”
And that’s where Musk comes into play. Sharing an AI-generated short of the story posted by an X user. Musk declared, “Before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer.”

The Tesla CEO also said he was “down” to giving Mel Gibson $100 million to film an adaptation of the classic that would be “delivered in Homeric Greek.”
I’m down

The left may want to keep in mind what prompted Musk to purchase Twitter, as some are encouraging him to start his own non-woke entertainment company.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
Echoing another comment I made here:
Imagine gets better with each passing day and it’s super exciting to see. I was consistently blown away when putting this together at the awesome performances you can get out of an AI “actor”.Fantastic stuff. 🧡

As much as I dislike the idea of AI doing art, I would 10,000 times prefer this over any woke Hollywood production.

The Mel Gibson idea is way better. AI is soulless and no one will care, no matter how good it looks.

Meanwhile, over there on Bluesky…

Please let this be taken very seriously.
Imagine the madness of the left if such a film was released in theaters, and outperforms Nolan’s Odyssey.
This would absolutely be the death of big budget Hollywood, and the start of a massive new age of AI films.

Seriously Elon, please start a non-woke movie studio

Hey Elon, fuck it, just started your own film industry called XEntertainment. Then bring Mel under its protection.
I would watch. pic.twitter.com/hugHBT2FU0
