Famous Hollywood couple ‘kicked out’ of Boston airport for sleeping at gate following 9-hour delay

Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, and their family were booted from a Boston airport after they camped there following a 9-hour delay.

The actors and their two daughters spent $600 on pillows, blankets, and sheets so they could sleep at Boston’s Logan International Airport after their flight was delayed. After all that, they were kicked out on Wednesday, according to the New York Post.

The family waited forever for the delayed flight and then the celebrity parents decided to throw together makeshift beds on the floor for all of them since they claimed the closest hotel with a vacancy was over 50 miles from the airport, according to Bell’s Instagram account.

“Stranded at the Boston airport, 9 hours of delays,” Bell wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of her family and friends who were also traveling with them while they sat at the boarding gate.

The famous family passed the lengthy wait by playing Uno and Spades before deciding to actually camp out in the terminal. When they found out that their flight would not occur until the next day, they settled in to sleep there for the night.

“We made quite a home here,” the actress captioned a photo of herself standing in the airport with a toothbrush in her mouth and no makeup on her face.

“The punch line is, even though I spent $350 on neck pillows and blankets, I decided to just buy one toothbrush for the whole family to share,” Shepard kidded, laughing while lying on the ground in their makeshift bed of blankets.

Bell also posted a video on her social media noting that there were “ZERO vacancies in the greater Boston area.”

The actress tried to make light of the situation, quipping that she needs to take her shoes off “when I’m in my bedroom” as she kicked off her tennis shoes and walked onto a sheet they had spread out on the airport floor.

Shepard was stretched out on the floor with a neck pillow and blanket.

“Could have been a really nice hotel, but they’re all taken,” he complained after totaling up how much money they had spent.

“It’s $600 a night to stay at Boston International Airport,” Bell joked.

Just as they had hunkered down for the night and were getting ready to go to sleep, the airport kicked them out and they had no place to go considering how late it was. It is unknown exactly why they were asked to leave.

Friends of friends reportedly came to the rescue and put them up for the night in their attic, taking them for a hike the next day.

“Thankfully we found friends of friends who offered us their attics and accepted us at 1am!!!!!!” Bell declared on Instagram showing the beds they slept in.

Social media users were puzzled that an airport would treat celebrities in such a shabby manner or that the famous couple had to deal with the same travel woes that everyone else does on a daily basis.

I truly don’t mean this to be mean but I didn’t think this stuff happened to rich people,” one person remarked according to the New York Post.

“I love that you guys are just normal f***ing people,” another virally noted.

Many were not impressed that Bell documented the whole ordeal:
