Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pennsylvania, is willing to put up a lot of money for Abdul El-Sayed to campaign with Hasan Piker.
Progressive candidates have aimed to distance themselves somewhat from the rhetoric spewed by Piker, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t hold similar views. Fetterman is offering to donate $25k to El-Sayed’s PAC for every campaign rally that he holds with the far-left streamer.

“I don’t get along with El-Sayed. I don’t get along with him because he absolutely supports Sharia Law. I mean, he’s absolutely pro-Iran and Hamas. He even said he wants to defund the police, and he’s in a spiritual union with Hasan Piker, who really thinks that we deserved 9/11. So overall, I don’t get along with communists and socialists and people that hate America. Or people that pick on women. You know, like El-Sayed,” the senator said.
Fox News host Sean Hannity went over some of the tenets of the DSA agenda, asking Fetterman whether he agrees with anything they believe in.
“They want to eliminate the Senate. We would no longer get to pick the president. They want to pack the courts. They want amnesty for illegals. They want no borders, no deportation, abolish ICE, defund the Department of War, eliminate cash bail, abolish prisons and police, cradle-to-grave socialism, the Green New Deal. Guaranteed government job, healthcare, daycare, retirement, and everything guaranteed. Do you agree with any part of those things I’m mentioning, any part?” he asked.
“Of course not, the DSA, they are deeply anti-American. They are deeply anti-capitalism. They are deeply anti- the American way of life. But when you look at the kind of individuals that are actually in the DSA, they are living in a house that their dad bought for $1.5 million, and they are refurbishing it for another million or more, and they want to impoverish middle-class whites, and, you know, seize all the production,” Fetterman mocked. “I would think every single Democrat should condemn the DSA. This is not like a big tent situation. They should have their own entire party and run alone as the kinds of communists and socialists and anti-American party that they are.”
When asked why Democrat leaders “seem to cower in fear against this hostile takeover of the party,” the senator responded by issuing a challenge to El-Sayed.
“Yes, I agree. You’ve got to call it what it is. And, I mean, in some of these kinds of districts, they are choosing truly terrible people, and they seem to have like a deeply anti-American kind of view overall. And there are people that will campaign with Hasan Piker. Like I said this, I think on your show several weeks ago. Like I’m daring him, campaign with Hasan Piker. I will donate $25,000 to his super PAC for every campaign rally that he does with Hasan Piker,” he said. “That’s definitely, that’s his main guy, so get back out on the trail, dude. Let the tiny guy just go hit the road with Hasan Piker. He tries to prevent that he doesn’t have the same kinds of views as Hasan Piker because he’s campaigned with him constantly overall. So right now, I’m daring them: are they cowards? Campaign together, or condemn him.”
