Former DNC vice chair David Hogg tells moderates they’re not welcome in Dem Party ‘big tent’

Former DNC vice chair David Hogg suggested that moderates are unwelcome in the Democratic Party’s “big tent” as a string of primary wins by radical candidates signals that the party is heading even further left than it already is.

In the latest win for the insurgency, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed survived an onslaught of outside money to narrowly edge establishment favorite Rep. Haley Stevens in the Democratic primary for Michigan’s Senate seat, another indication that an increasing number of Democrat voters are taking the leap of faith in socialism.

Ousted from his Democratic National Committee spot at least partly because of his willingness to criticize the party establishment, the ever-humble Hogg basked in the warmth of vindication and delivered his message to moderates during a conversation with Kaitlan Collins on Wednesday’s edition of “The Source” on CNN.

“The reason why the establishment of our party is being defeated over and over and over again is because they don’t have the right values that are aligned with not the Democratic base, but the American people,” Hogg told the host, who is a dead ringer for transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, at least in President Donald J. Trump’s opinion.

“Where people are sick and tired of listening to Democrats and tell them all the reasons why they can’t solve their problems,” the ex-DNC official added.

When asked by Collins what he had to say to moderates, Hogg suggested that they aren’t selling what voters want from their candidates in the age of rage.

“I would say to the moderates in our party, ‘You need to figure out how to actually offer something new to voters that isn’t just the same message that you gave them in 2024,'” he said.

X users shared some thoughts on the “moderates not allowed” direction of the Democratic Party, which looks to be on the brink of a full-blown purge.

After staking his claim to fame as a snarling little punk who capitalized on the 2018 mass shooting that claimed the lives of more than a dozen of his classmates at a Parkland, FL high school, Hogg matured into a political figure whose stint at the DNC may have come before his time, as is now evident by the party’s race to the far left.
