Former FBI agent in Hunter Biden case confirms IRS whistleblower’s allegations in ‘sickening testimony’

According to Republicans on the House Oversight Committee, the former FBI agent who was the supervisor during the IRS investigation into Hunter Biden’s nefarious activities confirmed key details of whistleblower testimony concerning alleged political interference in the probe.

“Today, our committee staff conducted a transcribed interview with a former FBI supervisory special agent assigned to the FBI’s Wilmington office and the Biden criminal investigation,” a tweet from the committee announced on Monday.

“The agent CONFIRMED key portions of the IRS whistleblowers’ testimony, including that both Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were TIPPED OFF about the planned Hunter Biden interview,” the statement continued.

“In fact, on the day of the Hunter Biden interview, FEDERAL AGENTS WERE TOLD TO STAND BY AND TO NOT APPROACH HUNTER BIDEN— they had to wait for his call. As a result of the change in plans, IRS and FBI criminal investigators never got to interview Hunter Biden as part of the investigation,” the tweet asserted. “The former FBI supervisory special agent told committee investigators he had never been told to wait outside to be contacted by the subject of an investigation.”

“The agent’s testimony is sickening and reveals the lengths to which the DOJ is willing to go to cover up for the Bidens. The Oversight Committee, along with the @JudiciaryGOP and @WaysandMeansGOP, will continue to seek the answers, transparency, and accountability that the American people demand and deserve,” it concluded.

Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) also released a statement in the same vein that slammed the Biden administration and a two-tier justice system.

“The night before the interview of Hunter Biden, both Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were tipped off about the planned interview. On the day of the Hunter Biden interview, federal agents were told to stand by and could not approach Hunter Biden — they had to wait for his call. As a result of the change in plans, IRS and FBI criminal investigators never got to interview Hunter Biden as part of the investigation,” Comer asserted.

The two IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and an anonymous witness accused the DOJ of directly interfering in the investigation in testimony in front of the committee on Monday.

Both individuals intimate that decisions made in the case seem to be “influenced by politics.” They also claim that federal prosecutors have actively blocked lines of questioning connected to President Biden. They contend that David Weiss, the US attorney in charge of the investigation, did not have full authority to bring charges in the case.

The digging into the dealings of the Biden family’s business ventures continues to increase in intensity among Republicans.

“Since taking the gavel in January, the Committee on Oversight and Accountability has made rapid progress in our investigation into the Biden family’s domestic and international business dealings to determine whether these activities compromise US national security and President Biden’s ability to lead with impartiality,” Comer noted in a statement that was released last week.

“From the thousands of financial records we’ve obtained, we know the Biden family set up over 20 shell companies, engaged in intentionally complicated financial transactions with foreign adversaries, and made a concerted effort to hide the payments and avoid scrutiny,” he stated.

According to Comer, the whistleblowers have confirmed “many findings of our investigation.” He also emphasized that their testimony was vital in the uncovering of the “weaponization of federal law enforcement power.”

According to Fox News, “Monday’s testimony came amid a joint-congressional investigation with the Oversight Committee, Judiciary Committee and House Ways and Means Committee into the federal probe into Hunter Biden, and whether prosecutorial decisions were influenced by politics.”

“House Republicans are demanding more than a dozen federal officials, including the U.S. attorney in charge of the investigation into Hunter Biden, appear before multiple congressional committees for transcribed interviews regarding allegations of politicization and misconduct at their agencies throughout the years-long probe into the president’s son,” the media outlet reported.

Hunter Biden was the recipient of a sweetheart plea deal that got him off the hook for numerous alleged felonies. In the end, he only got probation despite income tax evasion and one charge of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance. His dealings with prostitutes and wonton drug usage were also ignored. And none of this addresses his evidently corrupt foreign business dealings.

The first son will make his initial court appearance on July 26. The whole investigation and ruling appears to be a sham to many Americans with the Bidens considering themselves above the law while persecuting and prosecuting a former president who has ostensibly done nothing wrong.

The DOJ, of course, is denying any wrongdoing. The agency claims it was not unduly influenced in any way during the Hunter Biden investigation.
