Four illegal immigrants living in a downtown Chicago shelter paid for by taxpayers allegedly robbed and strangled a passenger on the Pink Line Train in broad daylight.
The men have all been arrested and charged with robbery and aggravated battery by strangulation, according to CWBChicago which spoke with officials about the incident.
“The foursome attacked and robbed the 48-year-old man while riding a train near the Kostner station around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, a CPD news release said. Chicago cops swooped in and arrested the suspects about 45 minutes later at the Pulaski station,” the media outlet reported.
Few details have been released concerning the crime. The allegations will be addressed by authorities during the men’s detention hearings at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse on Monday afternoon.

“CPD identified the men as Fernando Loyo-Rodriguez, 22, Wilker Gutierrez Sierra, 21, Carlos Carreno-Carreno, 20, and 18-year-old Yonnier Guasamucare Garcia. They all list home addresses in the 300 block of South Plymouth, home to the Standard Club migrant shelter,” CWBChicago noted.
Chicago has doled out millions from taxpayers to house, clothe, and feed illegal immigrants coming into the Windy City.
“Taxpayers in Illinois’ Cook County will pay an additional $70 million to aid migrants coming to the Chicago area, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced on Thursday,” Newsweek reported.
“Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, a Democrat, has been joined by New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, also both Democrats, in calling for more financial assistance from the federal government and Biden administration to properly shelter the influx of migrants coming into their cities,” the media outlet noted.
Chicago is a sanctuary city that no longer uses cash bail so you can imagine how this is going to go.
It’s despicable that any city operates this way.
All it does is encourage illegals to commit crimes and then flee — just like we saw happen in NYC.

And Democrats want hundreds of millions more for illegal immigrants in Chicago.
“Pritzker, a Democrat, and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle said their joint funding plan ‘to ensure shelter, wraparound services, and healthcare remain available for asylum seekers’ sent to Chicago from the Texas border requires an additional estimated $321 million to maintain shelter and services this calendar year, on top of previously committed funding,” Newsweek stated.
The murder incensed X users who were not surprised by the crime and were very cynical about the illegal immigrants being punished:
If the Mayor had any balls, he would deport them immediately or very hash prison time to set an example.
The residents are hip to the issue and they are not going to take it. Chicago’s South side is tired of these games and don’t like being fleeced.
