The Fox News hosts of The Big Weekend Show did not hold back on child content creator Ms. Rachel.
Households around the world know Ms. Rachel, who creates educational content for young children on the internet. But recently, she’s come under fire for teaming up with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to support his free child care policy. Critics argue that someone who makes content largely aimed at entertaining and educating children should not be associated with an elected official who has been accused of having antisemitic tendencies.

Co-host Tomi Lahren was up first, saying it “creeps me out when you have adults that dress like children and behave that way.”
“If you are a parent that has your children watching this, maybe second-guess for reasons of being creepy, and her political leanings — a little problematic,” she added.
“She is absolutely not in our house at all — at all — it’s not just because she’s annoying, which, I find it all grating and cloying,” co-host Guy Benson said. “But when she also made her whole personality about hating the Jewish Statesand basically apologizing for Hamas and promoting all their propaganda, that was a definite hard no redline in my household.”
“Well, now we know why Mamdani likes her,” Fox News contributor Nicole Saphier snarked.
“Right! It’s sort of on-brand, isn’t it, this alliance?” Benson said.
“I do not know who Ms. Rachel is. My kids are old enough, but she seems annoying. And I don’t know that she is antisemitic, but if she’s sitting next to Mamdani and they’re doing little hand gestures together — since he’s antisemitic, I would assume she is as well, because misery loves company,” Saphier added.
“The issue they are talking about here is the expansion of government-run childcare in New York. The reality is, there is a report from 2025, 375,000 New York City parents either left a job or reduced hours due to inadequate or unaffordable childcare. So listen, I have three children. There are no longer of childcare age, but it is a struggle. I was a single mom for a while when I was young. It is very expensive and very hard. A lot of adults have to stop working to pay for child care. I am all for programs that are going to help these people get childcare so they can stay in the workforce and be contributing members of society,” she continued. “It is very expensive, and just like what we are seeing in Minneapolis though, when you have these government-run or government-funded childcare places, they are subpar, they fail because they do not meet the metrics and they are a breeding ground for fraud. So my concern with Mamdani’s plan is that it is going to be another Minneapolis, and we are going to see more ‘learing’ centers and is not going to be good for the children. Maybe it will get more parents in the workforce, but I bet you not all 375,000 of them go to the workforce because I think a lot of people don’t like working.”
