Tucker Carlson raised eyebrows with a claim that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin threatened lawmakers over Ukraine funding and now a Fox News reporter is calling him a liar.
According to Carlson, Austin addressed House members in a classified briefing as the regime intensified its arm-twisting over the $60 million Christmas gift to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the notoriously corrupt country, and according to Carlson, told them that if they didn’t approve the money, that their own families would be sent off to fight the Russians.
‘The Biden administration is openly threatening Americans over Ukraine. In a classified briefing in the House yesterday, defense secretary Lloyd Austin informed members that if they don’t appropriate more money for Zelensky, ‘we’ll send your uncles, cousins and sons to fight Russia. ‘Pay the oligarchs or we’ll kill your kids,” Carlson wrote on X.
But Fox News chief national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin, whose beat is the Pentagon, rejected the outrageous claim which she said was “100% not true” in her own post to X, citing two anonymous sources.

Before Carlson’s explosive tweet alleging that the “woke” SECDEF threatened members of Congress, Austin’s boss, President Joe Biden fumed about the stalled aid package while suggesting that American troops would be marched off to Eastern Europe to fight the Russians as replacements for the cheap Ukrainian cannon fodder.
