A Fox News reporter visited one of the scenes of the barbaric weekend attack on Israeli civilians by Hamas terrorists and described the scene where Jewish families were slaughtered in horrifying detail.
The news network’s foreign correspondent Trey Yingst described the “house of horror” at Kibbutz Be’eri which is located near the Gaza border, detailing the unthinkable aftermath of the Islamist fanatics’ killing spree on Wednesday’s edition of “America Reports” in a chilling live report.
After first warning viewers of the graphic nature of what they were about to see, Yingst proceeded to do a walkthrough of the murder site, explaining that “this is what Israel is facing right now and it’s very important that we show you this.

The harrowing scenes included bloodstained floors, clips from the weapons and knives that were used by the terrorists who butchered innocents, some of them in their own beds, carnage in a community “littered with bodies” and “completely destroyed.”
“You could smell the stench of death in the air on the drive,” Yingst said. “As we got closer to this kibbutz where so many families were slaughtered in their homes it became obvious that we didn’t even have a full grasp of what took place here.”
“There is a large pile of bodies stacked up outside of the kibbutz. These are the bodies of militants that they’ve collected around the back of this house down the street a little bit,” he continued. “We saw about eight bodies in body bags of the local residents who were here. Some may be militants. They still have to work to identify the bodies, some are hard to identify.”
“I want to just tell you what the commanding officer told me when we got here,” Yingst added. “He saw many of the families that were slaughtered in their beds and in their bomb shelters after Hamas militants broke through the door. He told us that there were people who were decapitated here, people with their hands tied behind their backs and shot, executed. And you saw from inside that house it is the most horrific thing I have ever seen.”
“They were eating breakfast,” the reporter said, “Food was still sitting out on tables. You saw kids’ toys on the floor. It was a Saturday morning when this happened and this is just one of many locations where these mass executions took place against civilians,” adding that the commander told him that people had their hands tied behind their backs when they were executed and some had been beheaded.”
“It was a horrific scene, hell on earth, but it is important that we do not look away because that is the reason that Israel now is in this war,” he said. “It’s part of the reason that you are about to see the most extensive ground operation in the Middle East in quite some time.”
Yingst further documented the carnage in a series of posts to X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
We entered the town of Be’eri with the Israeli army. 10% of the community was slaughtered by Hamas. A Major General told us on-camera that people were found without heads. Others with hands tied behind their backs. Don’t look away. pic.twitter.com/1bva9ilLwz

In another report that was broadcast earlier on Fox News, the reporter provided even more gruesome details.

“There are beds soaked with blood on the floor of that kitchen, as you saw. And there are weapons laying everywhere from those militants. You can see some of their vehicles just outside. It is a house of horror behind me. And the entire neighborhood looks like this,” Yingst reported. “To give you a quick number about how many people live here. There are a thousand residents that were living in Kibbutz Beri before this horrific terror attack on Saturday morning. More than 100 of them were killed, many children among the dead. And their pictures are still on the refrigerator in the in the house.”
“And the piles of bodies outside of this kibbutz of militants, there were so many, they’ve already collected more than 1,500 dead. Hamas and Islamic Jihad members who stormed into Israel. They have weapons. They have people and they have a belief that they’re doing the right thing,” he said.
“And that is the hardest thing to understand about all of this. They came into this community and they slaughtered children. There are bodies of civilians just off in the distance here that we saw. I’m going to toss it back to you, though. We do need to get out of here. It’s not the best place to be after dark, but I wanted to make sure you could see the hell on Earth here,” Yingst concluded.
