Cultural depravity set to mark another low as students at a prestigious university were said to be planning a costume contest on the anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

In addition to the solemn memorial marking 25 years since September 11, this week will mark one year since the Christian patriot, father, husband, and Turning Point USA founder was murdered while exercising his First Amendment rights on the campus of Utah Valley University. As was witnessed in the aftermath and ever since, leftists have chosen mockery and are reportedly planning a “lookalike contest” at Georgetown University.
“Charlie Kirk lookalike contest. September 10th 2026. Pull up to Copley Lawn to speak the truth while the cost is high,” read the post from the anonymous social media platform Fizz that received more than 2,200 upvotes, according to a report from Fox News.
On top of a post that read, “Happy Kirkiversary, September 10th, on Healy Lawn,” another pushed for a similar contest mocking Erika Kirk, leading to the comment, “Can the winner of the Charlie Kirk one be prom king with the winner of this?”
“The TPUSA Chapter at Georgetown strongly condemns any events that aim to disrespect Charlie Kirk and the upcoming memorial ceremony at UVU,” Georgetown University TPUSA chapter president Heidi Sui told Fox News Digital.
“These events are not representative of how Americans feel about Charlie and his legacy. To the millions of us who listened to his debates, Charlie never celebrated violence. But some liberal students do. And they are doing it right here — in our nation’s capital of all places,” she went on. “This reaction from Georgetown students should disturb us regardless of our political affiliation. There is a difference between disagreeing with someone’s politics and celebrating their death.”
Kirk’s assassination has routinely been reenacted by depraved protesters, including outside TPUSA’s Women’s Leadership Summit held in June in San Antonio, Texas, with widow Erika Kirk in attendance.
Likewise, last month a drag event included further evidence that leftists “are in a death cult,” as someone dressed as Kirk danced with a bloody neck.

“A culture that can no longer simply mourn the fallen, or respect them enough to at least keep their mouth shut, is a culture that has lost touch with a basic sense of shared humanity,” said TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet to Fox News Digital. “Shame on any of the mockers and trolls who debase themselves by continuously proving Charlie outclassed them in every conceivable way.”
A spokesperson for the school condemned the posts and insisted Georgetown was unaware of any plans for such an event: “Georgetown is committed to ensuring that all members of our community have a safe and welcoming place to learn and receive the support they need to do so. We seek to create a living and learning community that promotes thoughtful, respectful dialogue.”
The university further stated, “making light of a victim of violence is counter to our values and deeply disappointing.”
Worth noting, Georgetown’s campus featured flyers in the days after Kirk’s assassination that read “Hey, Fascist! Catch!”
Outrage over the planned event highlighted the lows representative of the decline in the university system, as The Ugly Patriot wrote, “They couldn’t beat him with words so they wait a year after the bullet to dress up as Charlie Kirk.
