Former President Trump tore into his opponents on Truth Social as he arrived in New York City to be arraigned, calling for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to “indict himself” and branding Special Prosecutor Jack Smith as a “totally biased thug” and a “radical left lunatic.”

Smith was appointed by the Justice Department to investigate Trump’s classified documents case. The former president savaged him on Monday night and accused him of leaking information to The Washington Post. He was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate the classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago and Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn the election.
“Speaking of LEAKS, Special ‘Prosecutor’ Jack Smith (What did his name used to be?) leaked massive amounts of information to The Washington ComPost,” Trump charged. “This is illegal, and I assume this Radical Left Lunatic, much to the chagrin of his Trump Hating wife and family, will be PROSECUTED?”
“He is a totally biased Thug who should be let loose on the Biden Documents hidden in Chinatown, and the 1,850 BOXES secretly stored in Delaware, which Biden REFUSES to give up. Biden is guilty of Obstruction, I am not!” the former president railed.
On Monday, Fox News reported that Smith had subpoenaed a number of Secret Service agents to testify concerning Trump.
Smith has already subpoenaed former Vice President Mike Pence, former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and attorney Evan Cochran. His case against the former president appears to be the next in line to attempt to take Trump down.
Trump also accused Bragg of leaking information about the indictment to the media.
“D.A. BRAGG JUST ILLEGALLY LEAKED THE 33 points of Indictment. There are no changes or surprises from those he leaked days ago directly out of the Grand Jury. No Crime by Trump. What a MESS. Bragg should resign, NOW!” the former president posted on Truth Social.
“Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic Indictment against me. I know the reporter and so, unfortunately, does he. This means that he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED. Now, if he wants to really clean up his reputation, he will do the honorable thing and, as District Attorney, INDICT HIMSELF. He will go down in Judicial history, and his Trump Hating wife will be, I am sure, very proud of him!” Trump also posted.
Bragg allegedly handed the indictment plans for Trump to Yahoo journalist Michael Isikoff, according to the Daily Mail. The former president also attacked him.
The report claims that Trump will face 34 felony counts for falsification of business records on Tuesday. It also included details of the charges which are set to be unsealed Tuesday.
Trump will not be handcuffed or subjected to a mugshot, but he will be reportedly fingerprinted. He will also not be thrown in a jail cell after his court hearing, according to Yahoo! News.
As the former president is arraigned, New York City is bracing for possible protests and the NYPD is on high alert. There is massive support for the former president.

Trump’s attorneys have stated that he will enter a plea of not guilty. His legal team is preparing to add a constitutional expert in case the judge imposes an unprecedented gag order. There will reportedly be no cameras allowed in the courtroom.
The arraignment is set for 2:15 pm on Tuesday and is expected to last about 15 to 30 minutes according to the Daily Mail. Following it, the former president will return to Mar-a-Lago and give an explosive speech Tuesday evening.
President Biden claims he has faith in New York’s justice system. He is also claiming that Trump will not be president again.

As Trump is being arraigned in New York City, his daughter Ivanka was spotted in Miami, according to the Daily Mail. There is no need for his family to be drawn into this political circus and it is understandable why they would stay away out of security concerns.
Former first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron will also not be in attendance for obvious reasons.
She is, however, strongly supporting her husband as he is attacked from all sides.
“Mrs. Trump is strong. She is focused on her family and stands behind her husband, as she always has,” a source told the Daily Mail last week. “For the past 7 years, the left has made multiple attempts to smear and attack her family and this is just the latest attempt to bring him down.”
