Hakeem Jeffries vows immediate anti-corruption push against Trump admin next year

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) vowed to focus on holding those involved in corruption accountable if the Democratic Party retake the House in November.

With rampant fraud happening all across America, where hard-working U.S. taxpayers are being taken to the cleaners, often by foreign actors, that would be a welcome development.

But that isn’t what Jeffries actually has in store. Instead, he’s leaning into manufactured corruption charges against the Trump administration — though inventing allegations against Donald Trump has long been standard operating procedure for the Democratic Party and its allies in the media.

“What we’ve seen from the Trump cartel is that they’re more focused on enriching themselves, their family members, their friends and their donors than they are with making life more affordable for the American people,” Jeffries said Thursday during a press conference. “And our promise to the country in the new Congress is that, beginning on Day 1, we’re going to hold the crooks accountable.”

Oddly, not that the liberal media will take note, but Jeffries has been beating this same drum for nearly two years, as seen in the post below from Oct. 2025.

“We’re also fighting to clean up corruption in Washington DC, where we have an American president behaving like an organized crime boss,” he said of the sitting president.

The politician often referred to by Republicans as “Dollar Store Obama” knows full well he can count on the media to carry their water as they throw everything including the kitchen sink up against the wall, hoping it sticks against Trump, his family, and supporters.

Of course, Jeffries had a very different attitude when it came to alleged Biden family corruption:

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to Jeffries’ alleged concern about corruption, as seen on X:
