A member of the Seditious Six allegedly stuck his foot in his mouth anew, this time “blabbing on TV” about details concerning a classified Pentagon briefing.
In recent months, Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly (D) has found himself fighting off the consequences for his participation in a video advising U.S. military service members to disobey orders they believe to be illegal at a time when leftists categorize much of President Donald Trump’s orders as such.
Now the former astronaut, widely considered a likely hopeful ahead of the 2028 Democratic presidential primary, faced renewed ire from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth over comments made on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” as the cabinet official asked, “Did he violate his oath…again?”
Sharing a post from the program’s host, Margaret Brennan, Hegseth wrote Sunday, “‘Captain’ Mark Kelly strikes again. Now he’s blabbing on TV (falsely & dumbly) about a *CLASSIFIED* Pentagon briefing he received. Did he violate his oath…again? @DeptofWar legal counsel will review.”

In her own post, Brennan summarized portions of her interview with the senator, stating, “After hearing the Pentagon classified brief on Iran war impact on US weapons stockpiles, Senator Mark Kelly says it is ‘shocking how deep we have gone into these magazines.’ He said the Tomahawks, ATACMS, SM-3, THAAD rounds, Patriot rounds, … those interceptor rounds to defend ourselves have been hit hard. He says it’ll take years to replenish those stockpiles, which could affect a hypothetical US conflict with China.”
During the exchange on “Face the Nation,” Kelly rattled off the specific munitions in question and said, “I think it’s fair to say it’s shocking how deep we have gone into these magazines, because this president got our country into this without a strategic goal, without a plan, without a timeline.”
“Whether it’s a conflict in the western Pacific with China or somewhere else in the world, the munitions are depleted,” he added.

Reacting to the secretary’s post, Kelly, who recently attended an appeals court hearing regarding Hegseth’s move to demote the U.S. Navy veteran for his alleged seditious video, shared a clip of a congressional hearing held by the Senate Armed Services Committee.
In the video, an exchange over the proposed defense budget included remarks about the length of time it would take to replenish stockpiles. The senator argued, “We had this conversation in a public hearing a week ago and you said it would take ‘years’ to replenish some of these stockpiles. That’s not classified, it’s a quote from you. This war is coming at a serious cost and you and the president still haven’t explained to the American people what the goal is.”

However, the broad strokes with which the exchange touched on the stockpiles were called out by many as contrary to the more specific comments Kelly offered to Brennan, leading some to suggest it was time the senator found “a good military lawyer.”
“Some of these stockpiles” is an unclassified description.
Listing the munitions in question by name is a classified description.
Stop lying, Senator Kelly (D-Sedition).

Literally nowhere in that discussion is a public statement about the depth of our interceptor magazines. That info is obviously classified and wouldn’t be discussed at a public hearing.
Better find a good military lawyer.

So we should ignore the reporter who said that you told her the info after a classified briefing? Then call her out for lying. Let’s see it.

Get him Pete. We’re tired of our own working against America

They never learn until they face ACTUAL accountability. A slap on the wrist is a slap to the face of the American people. #GITMO

And the fact the @cbs blasted this treasonous interview is completely unacceptable @BrendanCarrFCC
