As leftist journalists eagerly awaited former President Trump’s arrival at the federal courthouse for his criminal immunity appeal, they kicked back, joked, and laughed about his potential assassination.
The two journos were caught on a hot mic fantasizing about Trump being killed which they evidently found highly amusing.
On Tuesday, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals was slated to hear oral arguments in Trump’s appeal concerning the issue of presidential immunity. This follows Judge Tanya Chutkan denying two motions by his legal team to dismiss the case based on First Amendment and presidential immunity claims.
“The appeal will be heard by a three-judge panel consisting of Judge J. Michelle Childs, who was nominated by President Joe Biden in January 2022 and confirmed in July 2022; Judge Florence Pan, nominated by Biden in May 2022 and confirmed in September 2022; and Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson, who was appointed by then-President George H.W. Bush in 1990,” Mediaite reported.

“In 234 years of American history, no president ever faced criminal prosecution for his official acts. Until 19 days ago, no court had ever addressed whether immunity from such prosecution exists,” Trump’s attorneys wrote in a filing in December. “To this day, no appellate court has addressed it. The question stands among the most complex, intricate, and momentous issues that this Court will be called on to decide.”
A gaggle of reporters gathered outside the courtroom on Tuesday morning. All of them salivating. News cameras were placed between the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia and the E. Barrett Prettyman U.S. Courthouse as journalists awaited Trump’s appearance.
The hot mic caught the journalists complaining about being able to get a good shot of Trump from where they were positioned. To bide the time, they daydreamed that Trump could be assassinated just like President John F. Kennedy while riding in a convertible.
Make their names public. They should be prepared to acknowledge their attempt at humor. After all, if that’s what they believe, why conceal their identities?

“You know what the worst part is? Even if he has his window open and he’s hanging out of it, he will be on the other side of the street,” Journo 1 commented.
“I mean, if he’s driving, we’ve got a good shot!” Journo 2 declared.
“Yeah, if he’s driving with the front window open?” Journo 1 posited.
“Yeah, or if it’s a convertible?” Journo 2 noted.
“Yeah. I wasn’t thinking about that,” Journo 1 stated.
“Yeah. Like if he just pulls up–” Journo 2 started to say.
“Like JFK?” Journo 1 suggested.
That elicited laughter from Journo 2.
“Maybe someone, just like they told JFK. You know what you should do? You should take a convertible! It’s so nice out!” journo 1 joked daydreaming that Trump would meet the same fate as Kennedy.

It’s unknown who the journalists are or what agency they work for but the live feed was operated by the Associated Press. It will be interesting to see if the Secret Service takes any action on their musings. This is certainly not the first time leftists have been caught fantasizing about killing Trump.
