House Democrats continue to fail at effectively utilizing social media to combat President Donald Trump’s agenda.
On Thursday, the official House Dems X account railed against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) funding as money going toward “mass deportations” as if Americans didn’t vote for exactly that when they elected Trump in 2024. Perhaps their electoral autopsy didn’t make it clear that people weren’t just voting against former Vice President Kamala Harris, they were voting for the man who was promising to correct the border chaos that was unleashed during the Biden presidency.
Look:
Last year, Republicans gave ICE $140 billion.
Now, Republicans want to give ICE $70 billion more.
Your taxpayer dollars are funding an out-of-control mass deportation machine.

“Last year, Republicans gave ICE $140 billion. Now, Republicans want to give ICE $70 billion more. Your taxpayer dollars are funding an out-of-control mass deportation machine,” they wrote.
If they were hoping to rally their base with this post, the comments quickly proved how badly that backfired.
What’s the issue? We literally want mass deportations

If you ask me $210 billion isn’t nearly enough to clean up the mess caused by the DemonRats and their open border policies. pic.twitter.com/dAVNbQUeid

My taxpayer dollars funding an out-of-control mass deportations machine is actually exactly what I voted for

You guys are such a joke. You fought Trump on the wall and lied saying the “border was secure” when it wasn’t. All you do is lie because you want to game the census so you keep districts. You couldn’t care less about immigrants and citizens. pic.twitter.com/Kp8iiZmPsm

It’s not nearly as out of control as it needs to be.https://t.co/hee30pvbgs

It’s not out-of-control, it’s underfunded. All your illegals have to go. Every. Last. One.

I just scrolled the comments for five minutes and couldn’t find one person that defended your position. That’s more than just a ratio, that’s a social media massacre.

My husband is very pleased to learn that his tax dollars are funding mass deportations.
This is money well spent.

Jealous.
Let’s bring this machine to Canada!

Good. I want my tax dollars protecting American citizens from illegal aliens. Especially women and children. Which you don’t. I recall Democrats refused to stand up for the principle of protecting us first. pic.twitter.com/eohIWcvjxz
