House Republicans accuse Joe Biden of being directly involved in Hunter’s shady dealings in bombshell presser

Amid news that the GOP has indeed retaken control of the House of Representatives, Republican Reps. James Comer (Ky.) and Jim Jordan (Ohio) have announced that they have “evidence” to prove Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings were criminal and that they believe President Biden was no innocent bystander.

Citing whistleblowers, documents, and previously unreported transactions, Comer claimed the Biden family “flourished and became millionaires by simply offering access to the family.”

“Today we’re going to provide you with something that y’all aren’t used to with respect to Congressional investigations,” Comer told the gathered media members, “and that’s evidence.”

According to the Republicans, that evidence points to “conspiracy or defrauding the United States, wire fraud, violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, money laundering, tax evasion and other crimes,” Fox News reported.

According to the duo, which has been relentless in their investigation of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and his son both participated in “waste, fraud, and abuse” in overseas business dealings.

As the incoming Oversight Committee chairman, Comer stated they’ve uncovered instances of “influence peddling, including with people closely tied with foreign governments like China and Russia.”

“We also found plans based in the United States where the Biden family swindled investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars — all with Joe Biden’s participation and knowledge,” he continued.

Comer noted that Biden had, in 2019, claimed he had nothing to do with his family’s business dealings.

“That was a lie,” the Kentucky Rep. stated.

An investigation into Hunter Biden and other members of the Biden clan will be a House priority, Comer said, to discover if the family’s allegedly shady deals “compromise U.S. national security and President Biden’s ability to lead with impartiality.”

“We want the bank records and that’s our focus,” Comer said. “We’re trying to stay focused on: Was Joe Biden directly involved with Hunter Biden’s business deals and is he compromised? That’s our investigation.”

Comer revealed that the Biden administration “has answered none of our requests for information regarding the Biden family or the financial transactions they engaged in.”

“Instead the Biden administration has spent over a quarter of a million dollars to staff to, quote, deflect Hunter stories,” he stated.

“Protecting the President’s son, who has committed crimes, with Americans’ tax dollars is a waste,” Comer continued. “The domestic and international scheme that promised access to wealth in a future Biden administration constitutes fraud. And the President’s participation in enriching his family is, in a word, abuse of the highest order.”

On Twitter, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) weighed in on the announced investigation.

“It’s a matter of public concern to investigate if Joe Biden was on the take from enemies of America!” he tweeted.

Speaking to Newsmax, Cruz said, “I think it’s very important that we finally have Congressional oversight of the abuses of this administration. That’s one of the most important consequences of Republicans taking the House.”

“Jim and James are exactly correct,” he continued. “The focus needs to be on Joe Biden.”

At the press conference, Rep. Jordan tore into the liberal media for calling the Hunter Biden laptop story “Russian disinformation” in the days leading up to the 2020 presidential elections.

“I think there are all kinds of questions that need to be answered,” he said. “We’re determined to get there.”

Stephen Miller, senior advisor to former President Donald Trump, called the press conference “incredible.”

“A new world in Washington begins today,” he declared.
