The Marxist-inspired left learned in going up against Donald Trump that no lie is too big to perpetuate if everyone is on board, and one of the more admirable aspects of this radical cabal is their ability to march in lockstep with the latest politically-driven narrative, frequently done with an enthusiastic assist from the agenda-driven corporate media.
The NAACP issued a ridiculous travel advisory for the state of Florida, claiming that the Republican-led state is “hostile to black Americans — never mind that the president of the civil rights organization lives in the Sunshine State and other executives vacation there, or that Florida leads the nation in black-owned businesses.
With Gov. Ron DeSantis set to enter the 2024 presidential race on Wednesday, and polling suggesting the Florida Republican will fare better against President Biden than Trump, the disinformation campaign is being picked up with zest — hell, even unscrupulous Hillary Clinton got in on perpetuating the lie.

Fittingly, the LGBTQ+ advocacy group that shares Hillary’s initials also jumped on board.
The Human Rights Campaign jumped aboard the anti-DeSantis train pumping fresh air into a previously issued, largely ignored travel warning from Equality Florida, a hard-left gay rights advocacy group.
“Because of Ron DeSantis and his frenzied appeal to extremists, LGBTQ+ people in Florida are finding themselves in a state of emergency every single day. Since the day he took office, Governor DeSantis has weaponized his position to weave bigotry, hate, and discrimination into public law for his own political gain,” Kelley Robinson, president of the Human Rights Campaign, said in a statement. “We see it as our duty to join Equality Florida — and LULAC and the NAACP — to provide guidance to our community.”
“Those who visit must join us in their vocal opposition to these dangerous policies,” Robinson continued. “Those who pick another place to work, to go to school or to spend their vacation should make clear why they’re not heading to Florida. And to all of our friends and family in Florida, we stand with you and with Equality Florida — we’ll keep working hard to make Florida feel more like the home you deserve it to be.”
Ron DeSantis continues to make Florida an unwelcoming, dangerous place for LGBTQ+ people with his recent wave of discriminatory bills.
That’s why we’re joining @equalityfl‘s travel advisory warning people about the state’s extremist policies.

LULAC stands for the League of United Latin American Citizens, which joined with NAACP earlier.
The Biden White House is doing its part to advance the disinformation, with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre commenting on Florida’s “misguided policies” at Tuesday’s daily briefing.
“Republicans in Florida have attacked diversity. They’ve attacked inclusion efforts,” KJP fibbed. “They’ve limited the teaching of black history. And they’ve launched attacks on the LGBT youth, immigrants, educators, and women’s reproductive freedom. That’s what you have seen from lawmakers in Florida.”
The distorted take on Florida policy initiatives is a hard-left take on efforts to push public schools in the state back toward education and put an end to the indoctrination of young children, be it critical race theory or queer theory. Under DeSantis, Florida has also removed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs from public universities — these programs amount to institutional racism. The governor also backed a more restrictive policy on abortion (6 weeks) and efforts to make it more difficult for illegal immigrants to flourish in the state.
Gov. DeSantis dismissed the campaign as nothing more than a “joke.”
BREAKING: DeSantis reacts to @NAACP urging a “travel advisory” for Fla.
“What a joke! […] These people would be on CNN [and] then they would end up being [spotted] vacationing in Florida! […] This is a stunt, to try to do that [….] I’m not wasting my time on your stunts.” pic.twitter.com/XfETFqWybE

“This is so ridiculous,” he said. “We’re proud to be leading the nation in tourism.”
“This is a stunt to try to do that,” DeSantis added, speaking of efforts to boycott the state. “It’s a pure stunt, and fine, if you want to waste your time on a stunt, that’s fine. But I’m not wasting my time on your stunts. Ok? I’m going to make sure that we’re getting things done here, and we’re going to continue to make this state a great state.”
Interestingly, Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., offered his own travel advisory — to “Socialists, Communists, and those that enable them.”
“Florida is openly hostile toward Socialists, Communists, and those that enable them,” Scott warned. “Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by Socialists and others who work in the Biden Administration.”
