ICE agent tells obstructionists they’re protecting a child sex offender from arrest

Snow and frigid temperatures weren’t the worst obstacle faced by federal immigration enforcement officers, as a viral video emphasized who leftists were really out on the streets defending.

“That’s who you guys are protecting. Insane.”

Relieved to be shifting the conversation away from fraud investigations in Minnesota, Gov. Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and their Democrat colleagues have embraced narrative-crafting in the wake of the death of an anti-ICE activist. While the politicians and corporate media talking heads have allegedly spurred on further obstruction of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity, one clearly fed-up federal agent slammed those “impeding” investigations during an effort to “arrest a child sex offender.”

“We’re here to arrest a child sex offender, and you guys are out here honking,” the agent could be heard saying from the driver’s seat of a pickup truck as he pulled alongside a vehicle while being recorded.

“No, we’re press,” responded someone off camera as the agent went on, “That vehicle right there is honking and impeding our investigations while we’re trying to arrest a child sex offender. That’s who you guys are protecting. Insane.”

In addition to the rabid radicals, whose actions over the weekend included allegedly dragging independent journalist Nick Sortor down a street as he attempted to retrieve his stolen camera and disrupting a Sunday service at Cities Church in Minneapolis to confront a pastor with alleged ties to ICE, actions by Walz and Frey were viewed by the Justice Department as worthy of opening a criminal investigation. The elected officials were subpoenaed for allegedly obstructing federal immigration enforcement.

Responding to the subpoena, Frey contended in a statement, “This is an obvious attempt to intimidate me for standing up for Minneapolis, our local law enforcement, and our residents against the chaos and danger this Administration has brought to our streets. I will not be intimidated. My focus will remain where it’s always been: keeping our city safe.”

Meanwhile, as other videos showed the anti-ICE agitators following federal officers, harassing them with whistles and honking car horns, and violence that included one officer being ambushed and beaten with shovels and broom handles last week, ICE Director Todd Lyons commented on Fox News over the weekend, “In my 30 years of law enforcement, I never thought we would have to send law enforcement to protect law enforcement.”

Amid the chaos exacerbated by open border zealots hellbent on protecting illegal aliens while remaining willfully ignorant of those who commit crimes ranging from assault to rape and murder, agents continue to receive support from President Donald Trump’s administration and conservatives.

This includes Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin, who shared the video with the caption, “God bless the men & women of @ICEgov @CBP who risk their lives to arrest these criminals,” and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who simply posted, “God Bless ICE.”
