Israel says Hamas ‘accidentally’ posted a video of a doll suggesting it was an IDF casualty

As if there isn’t enough real devastation happening in Israel and Gaza, Hamas decided to wrap up a doll and try to pass it off as a dead child, Israel has confirmed.

“Hamas accidentally posted a video of a doll (yes a doll) suggesting that it was a part of casualties caused by an IDF attack,” the Israeli government posted on Instagram.

Over on X, the Israel War Room described the stunt as “#Pallywood” material.

“We are delighted to introduce you to #Pallywood. A spectacular blockbuster was filmed in the #Gaza Strip, purporting to represent victims of IDF strikes,” the account reported. “The victim turned out to be a doll.”

“When do you think the second series of these breathtaking episodes will be released?” it asked.

In a world filled with propaganda, it appears “Pallywood” is taking center stage.

In a Sunday post, the Israel War Room shared a video of what appeared to be a wounded Palestinian being rushed to safety on a stretcher.

Moments later, the battle-torn victim popped off the stretcher and ran off.

It was, the Israel War Room declared, a “miracle.”

“A moment of miracle: a Palestinian ‘wounded’ being evacuated on a stretcher in serious condition recovers in a moment!” the War Room wrote. “Residents of Gaza continue filming exciting blockbusters. #Pallywood”

Clips from other users on X appear to show members of Hamas’s make-up battalion creating horrific-looking wounds for their rising stars.

Indeed, it is nearly impossible to know what is real.

“The amount of misinformation being spread by the Hamas terrorist organization is off the charts,” stated political journalist Brian Krassenstein. “Please use Community Notes!”

As BizPac Review reported, Community Notes, the user-generated “fact check” watchdog on X, has been doing a remarkable job of policing the propaganda coming out of the Middle East.

“Thank you to the many contributors who are helping to keep people around the world better informed about the events unfolding,” the Community Notes account posted on Saturday. “Collectively, notes across the platform are now being seen tens of millions of times per day, generating north of 85 million impressions in the last week. Notes are appearing more quickly and on far more posts than they were just weeks ago.”

The X group noted the many improvements it has implemented in the war against fake news.

“Welcome to the thousands of new contributors who joined this week,” it said. “And if you’re not yet signed up and would like to help – thank you.”
