‘It’s all gone:’ Contradictory new texts show Hunter Biden asking uncle for money claiming he’s flat broke

New Hunter Biden text messages show that he ran out of money in December of 2018 and needed financial help from his father, former Vice President Joe Biden.

Unveiled by the IRS whistleblowers, the texts specifically show that at the time he texted his uncle James to complain that the money he’d “earned” from his shady business deals was “all gone,” as reported by the New York Post.

As a result, he wrote, he was unable to afford either living expenses or his daughters’ school tuition.

“I can work when I’m in NYC all day every day for the next 3 months. But I can’t pay alimony w/o Dad or tuitions or for food and gas. Really it’s all gone,” he wrote in a text dated Dec. 29th, 2018.

“I can go make it up in 15/20 days I’m sure, but he’s basically made it clear that he’s not paying alimony b/c Mom made clear that she won’t do it,” he continued.

Hunter added that he would be moving into his father’s Delaware mansion because his relationship with his brother’s widow, Hallie Biden, had gone sour.

“Hallie won’t allow me to be at the house or lend me or pay me back any money. Ashley moves into momoms [sic] house after I told dad that I would move in there. … That night I tell dad I want to probably stay in the areaand [sic] specifically I wanted to live by you and teach my course at Penn and maybe develop another one,” he texted.

His uncle replied by suggesting to Hunter that the new arrangement would work given some “help” from his father.

“This can work, you need a safe harbor. I can work with you father alone !! We as usual just need several months of his help for this to work. Let’s talk about it. It makes perfect sense to me. This is difficult to fully vet without talking,” he wrote back.

These texts were reportedly released publicly by the House Ways and Means Committee on Wednesday.

In a statement released with the texts, IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler said that the uncle was never questioned about these text messages because of “an environment established by the assigned prosecutors in which the investigators were afraid to ask questions … this would not allow us to follow normal investigative leads and fully understand the business relationship between James Biden and his family.”

The new messages contrast sharply with previously reported text messages from January 2019 in which Hunter complained about having to give “half” of his salary to his father.

“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary,” he wrote.

These new findings come just days after House Republicans revealed that shady Chinese businesses wired $260,000 in two payments to Hunter’s father’s home in 2019.

“The two wires were addressed to Biden’s house in Wilmington, Del., by individuals associated with the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners, in which Hunter Biden held a 10 percent stake at the time. Biden received the first payment of $10,000 on July 26, 2019, from BHR venture partner Xin Wang,” according to the Washington Free Beacon.

“One week later, Biden received a second wire of $250,000 from BHR CEO Jonathan Li. Joe Biden falsely claimed during an October 2020 debate with then-President Donald Trump that his son never made any money from business dealings in China,” as reported by the outlet.

These findings also come after House Republicans revealed in June that Hunter had at one point in 2017 threatened a Chinese business associate by claiming his father was “sitting” next to him and would “forever hold a grudge” if their deal didn’t go through.

“The missive was revealed in documents produced by two IRS tax investigators who were part of a team that spent five years investigating Hunter Biden for his alleged financial crimes,” the Post notes.

“Bank records also obtained by the House Oversight Committee have shown that the first family and their associates netted more than $20 million from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan while his father served as vice president in the Obama White House. Others showed that a corrupt Romanian oligarch paid $1 million to at least nine Biden family members,” according to the Post.
