Janet Yellen blames COVID as the reason why the ‘Bidenomics’ snake oil isn’t selling

The reality-shifting spinmeisters of the Biden regime are in full-blown panic mode over the continued failure of their “Bidenomics” propaganda and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen seems to have pinpointed the reason why voters aren’t buying into the scam.

While the ability to shape perception by using the thoroughly corrupt media and its activist anchors and reporters has been largely successful during President Joe Biden’s tenure, the sunny economic news being pumped out is incompatible with the real-life experiences of ordinary Americans who get a reminder of “Bidenomics” every time that they go to the grocery store where high prices are crushing family budgets.

But leave it to the loopy former Federal Reserve chairwoman who was tabbed by Biden to head up the Treasury Department to find a convenient excuse for the pain and suffering of the beleaguered American people, blaming the sour mood on COVID, the proverbial gift that keeps on giving for cynical political actors.

During a sit-down with the Wall Street Journal, the secretary was asked by the outlet’s chief economics correspondent Nick Timiraos why the American people aren’t gulping down the “Bidenomics” snake oil and whether it was a matter of concern.

“Why do you think there is this disconnect, and are you concerned about the fact that the administration’s message around ‘Bidenomics’ isn’t landing?” Timiraos asked the geriatric top economic official.

“I think we’ve been through a lot,” Yellen responded, “The pandemic caused an enormous amount of disruption in people’s lives and we’re still in the aftermath of what’s been a serious shock and we’ve had serious global shocks.”

“And, although prices are rising at a much slower pace than they were, inflation is substantially off its highs,” she added, putting a positive spin on the worst inflation in four decades which the secretary suggests may be squeezing Americans just a little bit less.

“The level of prices of some things that people buy and are important to them are higher,” Yellen added.

Yellen’s ridiculous answer was greeted with skepticism and scorn from users on the X platform, previously known as Twitter, many pointing out the convenient excuse of COVID.

Far from the promise of putting the “adults” back in charge by ousting former President Donald J. Trump, the Biden regime has set new standards for dishonesty and has firmly established “The Big Lie” as the coin of the realm.
