Jason Aldean’s wife doesn’t back down when ‘woke’ country music stars criticize ‘tomboy phase’ remark; then Candace Owens shows up

If you make a comment online that doesn’t properly gush over the current transgender trend in America, you’d expect big tech and LGBTQ+ activists to do their best to cancel you, but you wouldn’t necessarily expect the backlash to come from the country music world — especially if you are the wife of award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Aldean.

But Brittany Aldean isn’t backing down from the mob who came after her for an Instagram post in which she thanked her parents for not changing her gender during her “tomboy phase.” In fact, she’s doubling down, calling the advocacy of “the genital mutilation” of children “one of the worst evils.”

The controversy started with a short Instagram video in which Brittany showed her two million followers the wonders that a foundation brush and some uber-glam sparkle can do for a gal.

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” she posted along with the video. “I love this girly life.”

And that’s when country music singers Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris descended on Aldean like a couple of woke high school mean girls.

“You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging,” Pope wrote on Twitter. “But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their ‘tomboy phase’ to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

Morris chimed in with a tweet straight out of an 80s-era Valley Girl flick.

“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie,” she stated with virtuous sanctimony.

The situation escalated when BLEXIT founder Candace Owens jumped in.

“It’s easier to not castrate your children,” she stated. “But I guess whatever helps sell bad records.”

“Oh my god, not you,” replied Morris. “My Grammy is positively sobbing right now. Also, why do y’all always go to ‘castration’ and ‘pedophiles’ to try and shut an argument down? It’s honestly concerning and worth looking into.”

Whether she knew it or not, Morris had entered, unarmed, into a battle of wits with one of the sharpest ladies on social media.

“Also ‘my Grammy is positively sobbing right now,'” retorted Owens. “You sound like a 15 year old girl on Tik-Tok. You are in your 30’s. Grow up.”

Owens also educated Morris on castration, tweeting: “When you chop a penis off, it is the literal definition of castration. So yes, I always go to basic English definitions. Also, I said groomers—not pedophiles. Got something else on your mind you want to share with the class, sicko.”

Meanwhile, over on Instagram, Brittany Aldean was decimating Pope’s snarky message with a message of her own that quickly made its way back to Twitter.

“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care,’ is one of the worst evils,” she stated.

“The other day Memphis wanted to be a dinosaur and tomorrow Navy will want to be a cat,” she said of the kids she shares with Aldean. “They’re children.”

“Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly that they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions,” she continued. “Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions.”

“Thankful my parents allowed me to go through my tom boy phase without changing my gender,” she repeated.

“Until then,” she advised, “leave children alone.”
