John Fetterman turns to desperate, albeit bad meme game as Dr Oz closes the gap

John Fetterman and his trademark hoodie may be an early sign that the Apocalypse may soon be upon us, but in the event that assessment is just partisan speculation it’s fair to say that he’s not real good at the politicking game.

Never the sharpest politician, it’s rather astonishing that he continues to lead in the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania despite clear cognitive issues brought on by a stroke earlier this year. This factor being more of an indictment of the American voter than it is of the son of a wealthy man who was receiving fat stipends from daddy almost up to the age of 50. At the same time, his lead continues to crumble.

Fittingly, as bad as Fetterman is at being an elected official — he’s making headlines this week over a video showing him as mayor of Braddock vandalizing a local black owned business — the Democrat is equally bad in his social media offerings.

As seen below, Fetterman posted an apparent “Mean Girls” meme attacking his Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz that has people asking, “What in the Sam Hell is this?”

Fetterman also dropped a meme mocking Oz that features The Simpsons’ snake oil-pitching quack Dr. Nick Riviera… interestingly, while Disney is rather hawkish about protecting its intellectual property, they’ve yet to make a stink over the Democrat’s use of the character.

Meanwhile, with the November election growing rather large in the windshield and voting about to get underway, Fetterman has managed to successfully dodge any debates with Oz, where voters might get a clearer picture of just how fit he is for office.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter that suggest cringe memes may not be what voters are looking for:
