Johns Hopkins erases women from new inclusive language guide that describes lesbians as ‘non-men attracted to non-men,’

Johns Hopkins University has decided to effectually erase women from the school’s woke “inclusive language guide” via its definition of what a “lesbian” is, defining the term as “non-men attracted to other non-men,” enraging a whole segment of society in the process.

The prestigious university located in Baltimore has always been known for its excellence in education and research. It’s widely recognized as one of the top medical institutions in the world. Recently, the school has decided to pioneer gender reassessment procedures. The school was once known for its rigorous academics, commitment to research and innovation, and its contributions to advancing knowledge, and solving complex problems in a wide range of fields.

The school has gone out of its way to make its definition of terms inclusive regarding gender and sexual identity as it bows before the LGBTQ community. However, many consider the contrived definition of “lesbian” as a step too far in that direction. Feminists particularly find it insulting, especially considering that their gay male counterparts are still referred to as “men.”

It is yet one more example of the transgender insanity sweeping the nation where the word “woman” is being basically “erased” in favor of such terms as “birthing people” and “menstruators.” Others are using terms such as “pregnant people” and “uterus-havers.”

Actual lesbians also claim they are being shamed and bullied if they refuse to have sex with transgender women who still have junk in their drawers, according to the Daily Mail. The dustup at Johns Hopkins is likely to fan those flames even further.

The new diversity police claim the controversial terms are inclusive of transgender men and non-binary people. Critics claim that women are being erased from society in favor of a tiny minority.

Johns Hopkins’ definition states, “Lesbian [sexual orientation]: A non-man attracted to non-men. While past definitions refer to ‘lesbian’ as a woman who is emotionally, romantically, and/or sexually attracted to other women, this updated definition includes non-binary people who may also identify with the label.”

Transgender Paula Neira, the Program Director of LGBTQ+ Equity and Education at the university, has approved Johns Hopkins’ definition of lesbian. She is employed in the university’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Health Equity. Neira also chairs the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity workgroup at the school.

Neira was a driving force behind the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy in the military that now allows gay, lesbian, and bisexual people to serve openly in the Armed Forces. The director is one of the country’s leading experts on transgender military service.

Neira’s department is overseen by Sherita Hill Golden, M.D. who is the Chief Diversity Officer. Golden has assisted in the implementation of the university’s “Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services Standards,” which is a system-wide policy prohibiting patient discrimination toward employees and trainees.

Golden has also introduced a system-wide unconscious bias and anti-racism train-the-trainer program.

Johns Hopkins was involved in tracking a whole host of global data in connection to the Covid-19 pandemic when it came to cases, deaths, and vaccinations around the world.

The university was instrumental in developing the first effective treatment for sickle cell anemia in the 1940s, and ten years later was involved in developing the polio vaccine. The institution was the first to capture images of the Earth’s curvature in the late 1940s from a V-2 rocket. It also assisted in the development of the first supersonic ramjet engine.

Johns Hopkins has led the way in the field of modern neuroscience, pioneering treatment and research including mapping the human genome and developing the first effective cancer immunotherapy.

The school has also pioneered cardiac surgery, performing the first successful surgical repair of congenital heart defects in babies. In the area of HIV/AIDS research and treatment, Johns Hopkins has paved the way for antiretroviral therapies.

The university has been deeply involved in space exploration and astrophysics. Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory has been a part of a number of space missions and scientific discoveries including the development of NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft, which provided the first close-up images of Pluto and its moons. It also helped to land the first spacecraft on an asteroid.

Unfortunately, the world-class university is now leading the way in politically correct censorship of terms such as “women” in the expanding cause of inclusivity. It raises questions about Johns Hopkins’ current commitment to scientific excellence.

There was widespread outrage on Twitter over the development:
