In a bombshell report largely ignored by the liberal media, special counsel John Durham confirmed that a Perkins Coie attorney working for failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton colluded with “tech executive 1” at “Internet company 1” to spy on former President Donald Trump — before and after he took office, to include the monitoring of a sitting president’s internet traffic.

“President Trump was right,” Jordan said. “Remember back in 2017 when President Trump said they were spying on me and the press and all the Democrats said they weren’t and then in 2019, then-Attorney General Bill Barr said spying took place at the FBI on President Trump’s campaign and everyone said no, no, no. Well now we know for sure.”

“Now we know 100%… Yep, there was spying going on, and it was worse than we thought because they were spying on the sitting president of the United States,” he added. “And it goes right to the Clinton campaign. So God bless John Durham and his investigation. It’s taken a long time, but we’re getting to know what we all suspected. The only thing we didn’t understand is that it was worse than we thought.”

Trump responded to the breaking news with a harsh assessment, saying that in another time it would have “been punishable by death.”

“The latest pleading from Special Counsel Robert Durham provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia,” he said in a statement. “This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution. In a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death. In addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this.”

Jordan was asked about whether there would be any accountability for such treasonous actions and what comes next.

“Look, I don’t know. Only John Durham knows that,” the GOP lawmaker said. “I do know some of the filings that he’s done on Sussman and [Igor] Danchenko were running up close to the five year statute of limitations. We do know this, John Durham has gone right to the start. Understand, the indictment against [Michael] Sussman was not about Sussman lying to John Durham and his investigative team, it was about the original lies. The lies that took place in 2016 when they started the whole concerted effort to go after a presidential campaign.”

“That is what is so frightening here. You had the government working with the Clinton campaign to go after the Republican Party’s nominee for president — to spy on that campaign,” Jordan explained. “We’ve never seen anything like this in history. So, President Trump, yesterday is on target, this is truly unprecedented. Truly something that has never happened in the history of our great country.:

Jordan then put the breaking news into context with other actions from Democrats.

“And when you couple it with the context, the broader context of a few years ago, it was Democrats using the IRS to target conservatives,” he said. “Then it was this issue five years ago with them going after President Trump’s campaign. Now we know just four months ago the Department of Justice had set up a threat tag label and they’re putting that threat tag, that label on moms and dads showing up at school board meetings. When you do it in that context, it’s more frightening.”
