Kanye West named as battery suspect for allegedly punching man who ‘sexually assaulted’ his wife

Troubled rapper Kanye West is in the headlines again and as has often been the case, it’s not for good reasons.

The mercurial entertainer and businessman has been accused of punching a man who is alleged to have accosted his wife Bianca Censori by inappropriately touching her, including putting his hands under her dress in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

According to celebrity gossip website TMZ which first reported the news, West who goes by the name “Ye” clocked the man after he “grabbed” Censori, an Australian designer for the Yeezy brand whom he wed last year.

“Law enforcement sources tell us … police are investigating Ye after cops say they were told he punched a man in the face late Tuesday night — but the guy he struck had allegedly pushed or grabbed West’s wife, Bianca Censori,” TMZ reported, dishing the juicy scoop on West, who has been a tabloid fixture for his up-and-down personality and controversial remarks.

The outlet said that West and Censori “took off after the alleged altercation” and that the victim didn’t require medical treatment.

West’s camp isn’t pleased with the depiction of the incident and says that “grabbed” doesn’t accurately describe the alleged conduct of the individual who assaulted her in a sexual manner, they claim, rejecting the police report which states that Censori was “pushed or grabbed” by the man who filed the battery report with the cops.

According to Team Ye, she was “sexually assaulted by the random man – who put his hands under her dress, grabbed her waist, and blew her kisses,” according to the Daily Mail which routinely features stories on West and his wife, many of them with sexually suggestive pictures that are real attention grabbers.

“‘Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted,” the rapper’s representatives told the outlet. “The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”

The incident happened on Tuesday night, hours after the couple had visited Disneyland where they were caught on video with West in a white hoodie and Censori clad in less revealing than normal garb with only her feet being bare.

The 46-year-old rap icon found himself in the center of a firestorm after an ill-advised social media post said that he was going to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE” which was widely condemned as being anti-Semitic.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions,” West wrote in Hebrew in an Instagram post seeking to put the controversy to rest. “It was not my intention to offend or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”
