KC Chiefs wife Brittany Mahomes likes Trump post, says she ‘doesn’t give a f***’ what people think of her

Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is clear she “doesn’t give a f***” what critics think of her public support of Donald Trump.

After igniting a leftist meltdown by liking social media posts related to the former president and his election campaign. the 28-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model initially lashed out in online comments calling her out for not falling in line like her bestie Taylor Swift who is dating Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce.

In an interview on the WHOOP podcast this week, Mahomes dismissed criticism and credited her husband with helping her block out the negativity.

“He is very good at blocking people out so having him beside has helped,” she said. “The main thing he always told me is to stop caring what people think – especially the people that don’t even know you.”

The former college soccer player and mother of two, who is expecting the couple’s third child, admitted that she used to be affected by social media reactions but that is no longer the case.

“I think social media used to get to me a lot. Now, it’s just like, honestly, I don’t give a f*** what people have to say about me anymore. And I think he has helped me get to that point,” she told WHOOP Founder and CEO Will Ahmed in the interview.

“I am strong in who I am. I am confident in who I am. I am confident in mine and his relationship and I am confident in our lives. So why does what other people say have to matter at all?” she added.

Among her social media activities that had the left clutching their pearls was liking Trump’s Instagram post outlining the “2024 GOP platform.” Mahomes responded to the meltdown in an Instagram story last week.

“I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”

This week, she re-posted a comment from preacher and author Shane Pruitt that seemed to be a message aimed at the haters.

“Contrary to the tone of the world today….you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind,” the post read.

Mahomes pointed to her husband’s background and experience as the son of retired Minnesota Twins and New York Mets reliever Pat Mahomes Sr. for giving him the ability to deal with being in the spotlight and handling critics.

“He is a lot better at it than I am, maybe because his dad played professional sports,” she said on the podcast. “I think he was around it and he understood it a lot more than I did.”

“So having him to help me get through it has helped a lot because he’s very good at managing those things,” she added.
