Keith Olbermann lashing out at new CNN boss, MSNBC ‘sh-tshow’

Unhinged ex-MSNBC host Keith Olbermann tore into CNN CEO Chris Licht, calling him a disastrous leader and a former “henchman” of MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, whom he scathingly said had a “blank, dazed, darting, paranoid, no soul, stupid” look.

Olbermann took a break from his neverending, deranged ranting against former President Trump and Fox News host Tucker Carlson, to take aim at both the new CNN boss and MSNBC host Joe Scarborough.

“If they scoured the nation to find the worst person to run CNN in a time when democracy is threatened by one political party and tepidly defended by another, it’s Chris Licht,” Olbermann said during his Monday podcast.

The embattled CNN CEO has admitted that “CNN This Morning” has been having a rough go of it following leftist anchor Don Lemon getting embroiled in accusations of misogyny. That followed his ill-considered comments on the “prime” age for women when talking about former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley who is running for the presidency in 2024.

Olbermann compared Licht to Captain Ahab of “Moby-Dick” fame. In the book, the captain is responsible for the death of most of his crew as he obsesses over killing a white whale. Something that Olbermann himself can apparently relate to.

“Moby-Licht?” Olbermann viciously snarked on Twitter.

MSNBC dumped Olbermann in 2011 because he was evidently too crazy even for them. So, it’s no surprise he would go after the network and gleefully attempt to eviscerate Licht and Scarborough.

On his show Monday, he went after Scarborough with gusto, claiming he had a “blank, dazed, darting, paranoid, no soul, stupid, ‘check engine light’ look. But if you don’t trust me, trust my scars, my Joey scars.”

“Behind that vapid face is a master saboteur,” Olbermann charged. “Nobody I have ever worked with in radio or television, in sports or news, in the 20th century or the 21st, ever spent more time trying to screw with other programs on the same network than did Joe Scarborough.”

Scarborough is a perpetual anger case that can’t seem to switch off his emotional hysteria. He has a long vocal history of attacking MSNBC and NBC executives and usually uses his podcast or his fiery tweets to vent.

In 2022, he sent out multiple tweets excoriating MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s team over a controversial clip about Nazis.

He has also railed against Executive Producer Cory Gnazzo, Editor Steve Benen, and MSNBC President Rashida Jones. Olbermann declared that MSNBC turned into a “sh*tshow” under their watch.

Olbermann seemingly attacks just about everyone. When he’s not going after politicians, Elon Musk, or his old media stomping grounds, he reserves his vulgarity for grandmothers.

The former ESPN and MSNBC broadcaster slammed the “meaningless” global baseball tournament and used that excuse to get obscene in regards to the elderly, according to the New York Post.

“First Freddie Freeman, now Edwin Diaz,” Olbermann tweeted. “The WBC is a meaningless exhibition series designed to: get YOU to buy another uniform, to hell with the real season, and split up teammates based on where their grandmothers got laid. Call it off. Now.”
